If my pain would go away ,
If my night would have a brighter day.

My lies and smiles ,
My drowning heart ,
And my body they have ripped apart.

Laughter and chatter ,
Sometimes I wonder if I'm mad hatter ,

And forget I was ever alive ,
I got a bruise ,

But my life is a course.
I rest my head ,
On pillows that are soaked instead ,
Tears running down my cheeks ,
A wrist that bleeds through the seams ,
They'll never listen ,
Yet they want me to glisten ,
I'm on my knees an answer ,
From a prayer ,
I want indeed....
