as you sat on your bar stool, tensely doing the work that you needed to catch up on, you noticed your phone ding and light up as it sat next to your laptop on the kitchen counter.
you reached over and grabbed it, noticing the several snapchats from your boyfriend tom. you excitedly opened them, looking forward to seeing his face, even if it was just though a screen.
it had been a little under a month since you last saw him as he was busy filming back in the US. when you opened snapchat, seeing there was videos you got excited, hoping you'd get to hear his voice.
you tapped on the video, and you were immediately calm from seeing his face and hearing his voice. he rambled on about how beautiful it was there, but how much he wished he was back home with you as he walked down the beach with the sun setting behind him.
after watching the videos you let out a small quiet sigh before replying to the video with a selfie, reminding him that it wasn't long until you'd be together again.
as he continued to walk down the beach, he sent more videos of himself just talking and mucking around - some of them including harrison.
from videos of tom telling harrison to shut up so he could send you a video, or to tom just saying how much he missed you - they all had a little special place in your heart
you talked for a couple hours, all about what he'd been up to, to getting excited to see each other again until he realised how late it was for him.
after putting your phone down, you continued your work that you should've been doing previously, before giving up and watching some stranger things.
