Zonnique POV

Alot has happened in the past two years. Me and Trina finally got our own place not to mention we both graduated high school early as well as college. I'm a nurse at the local hospital. Trina's a pediatrician at the doctor's office not too far from where i work. We still have alot to unpack so i decided to call Dejah and the girls to help us

Trina comes downstairs and gives me a kiss on the cheek while looking around at our place

Trina: We finally did it Nique. We finally got our own place

Nique: I know. And the best part is I'm with you

She pulls me in and starts kissing me. Her hands went right to my ass squeezing it causing a moan to escape from my mouth

Trina: You like that huh?

I nod my head up and down as she picks me up and head for the couch. She gets on top of me and starts kissing me again. She makes her way to my neck leaving mark after mark. We were so into it we didn't hear the door. We both sat up and got ourselves together

Trina: Every fucking time

I get up and kissed her lips

Nique: We'll finish later tonight

I gave her a wink as i went to the door. She slaps my ass as she goes into the kitchen. I shake my head as i open the door to see the girls

Nique: Hey y'all

They all ran in and gave me a group hug. Ever since graduation we haven't seen each other as much

Nique: Where's Dejah?

Bahja: She's getting Aaliyah out the car

Bre: This is a nice ass place Nique. Where's Trina?

Nique: In the kitchen

Bre and Bahja come closer to and look at my neck then stared at me

Nique: What?

Bre: What happened to your neck?

Nique: Nothing

Bre: Zonnique Jailee Pullins don't lie to me. Now what the hell is that?

Dejah: Looks like a hickey

I nudged her in the arm and gave her a hug. She gave me the baby as she put down the diaper bag

Nique: Hey my baby

She flashes me a big smile and starts babbling her baby talk

Dejah: Speaking of that let me show you what we've been doing

She takes Aaliyah out my arms and puts her on her feet on the floor. My eyes get wide as she takes her first steps toward me. I outstretch my arms as she makes her to me

Bre: We've been working with her for the longest

Bahja: We wanted to surprise you

I picked her up with tears in my eyes. I saw my niece take her first steps and it made my heart melt. I couldn't wait to have my own child. I put the baby in her swing and turned it on. Within seconds she was knocked out

Nique: Ok now that she's sleep let's get this unpacking done...

(Hours later)

We finally got everything situated and unpacked. As we were finishing Bre went and got us food. Now we're all in the kitchen eating

Nique: So how's the baby treating you D?

Dejah: She keeps me on my feet all day and runs me to the ground day in and day out but it's all worth it

Bre: You heard from Darius?

Dejah: No. I haven't seen him since i had Aaliyah

I hear the baby whining so i get up and get her out of her swing. I go to her bag and get out her wipes and a fresh diaper and head for the couch. After i finished i put her on the floor while i washed my hands then fixed her bottle. I pick her back up and sit back down giving her the bottle and eating my food

Nique: You're welcome D

She rolled her eyes as she continued eating

Bahja: Trina have you and Nique talked about having y'all own baby?

Trina: We haven't had enough time. We're both so busy with work and everything else

Nique: When the time is right we'll talk about it

I continued feeding Liyah and eating my food as me and the girls laughed and talked...

Trina POV

After the girls leave me and Nique started cleaning the kitchen. I was washing the dishes as she was wiping down the counter

Nique: Trina can i ask you a question?

Trina: Sure baby. What's on your mind?

Nique: When Bahja asked us about having a baby do you really think that's a good idea?

Trina: When the time is right yes

Nique: But...what if I'm not fit enough to be a good parent?

I put the rag in the sink and faced her

Trina: Are you kidding me? Did you see the way you handled Aaliyah earlier? You did all that AND still managed to take care of you

I go to her and wrap my arms around her waist pecking her lips

Trina: You'll be a great mother Nique

She pulls me in for a long passionate kiss. We finally break apart and continued cleaning the kitchen. While I finished I kept thinking about earlier. I honestly wouldn't mind having a little boy or girl running around. But with both me and Nique busy with work now just ain't the time. My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was my ex Diamond

Diamond: Hey Trina are you busy?

Trina: Just finishing up some cleaning. What's up?

Diamond: I need you to come by my place

Trina: Now?

Diamond: Yes

Trina: Ok. I'm on my way

I put my phone in my pocket and start looking for my car keys

Nique: What you looking for?

Trina: My car keys. Did you move them?

She goes by the door and takes them out the drawer smirking at me

Trina: Thank you

Nique: Your welcome. Where you heading off to?

Trina: I have to make a quick run. I won't be long

As I open the door she kisses my lips

Nique: Be careful

Trina: I will

I close the door behind me and head to my car. I hate keeping secrets from Zonnique but I really don't need her knowing about this. Her and Diamond don't get along at all. So if she found out I was seeing her Zonnique will kill me and Diamond. I hope and pray she doesn't find out...
