the crowds were busy on the summer day in polis. you walked through the market as usual on any day, visiting people, paying for what you needed.
turning your head, you felt your heart stop and forget how to beat. in front of you stood clarke, looking stressed but almost relieved.
she removed her hood and walked towards you. "it's been five months, but those five months have felt like forever. i wasn't sure if i'd ever see you again. the minute i left, i regretted it. i need you y/n, and i'm not going anywhere this time."
