Chapter Three (Part One)

When Shane finally pulled away, I ran. Why would he do that? He is my best friend and I didn't want our friendship ruined again.

I ran all the way to my house without saying bye. If there were footsteps behind me, I didn't hear them. I opened my front door, and walked inside. I got a text messa

I looked at my phone; Shane.

Rach, I only did that to get it over with. -Shane

What our friendship? Because it worked. Your wish has came true. You embarrassed me and ruined our friendship,  because I know it would be awkaard between us. With all the times we almost kissed, I dealt with that. Although I love you more than life because you're my best friend, our friendship has ti be paused. For now. I'm sorry that it has to be this way, but I'll ALWAYS love  you Shane. -Rachel

Rach, please don't do this. You know I love you more than life and beyond. I always have, and I don't want to end our friendship. Please Rachel, I didn't mean it! No, that's a lie, I did want to kiss you, and I just...... forget it. -Shane

This is killing me. I love Shane, always have and always will.

Our friendship isn't over, just on pause. -Rachel

Then I'm putting everything on pause. I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd care. why DO you care? -Shane

How am I supposed to answer this? Ugh.

Well, I didn't think you would actually do that. I thought if it happened anywhere, it'd be more...romantic? But, I just can't believe that you would put the attention on me like that. I may not be shy, but I don't like too much attention. I have to go, bye. -Rachel

Wait, why are you blaming this on me? it's been obvious that you liked me more than a friend since before me even met, don't play sad girl who wants pity, because 1) I won't pity you, and 2) You're not like that. Just tell me. you know I am always there for you, and you can't be here for me this one time? -Shane

I'm not replying. He doesn't understand anything, because he doesn't worry, his motto is 'YOLO' I wish u could be chill like that, the only time I am is when I'm with him. I sighed, and lay back on my bed.

I realized that I was sobbing. I cried myself to sleep.
