"I can't lose you, Hajime.." You spoke softly, pressing your forehead with his.
You felt his head shake a no. "You have to. Or else, I'll have no choice but to kill you, too," he says.
His skin was slowly turning cold. His breathing slow and unsteady, body shaking in pain.
"You have to kill me." His words were killing you repeatedly.
"I would rather die," you rejected his words stubbornly. Tears fell from my eyes and down to the ground, almost endlessly.
There was no warmth in his familiar hands as he held the sides of your face. He looked at you with half lidded eyes, ready for the virus to take over him. "You have to live on, for me, [name]."
"What's the point when you aren't by my side?" You asked him in whimpers.
"That's why you have to live on," he spoke lowly this time, his eyes closing. "I love you, [name]."
It almost felt like nothing when you stabbed the place where his heart is. It used to feel so natural, but now it felt so foreign doing it to the one you love.
"I love you, Hajime.."
