Min Yoongi had never liked (Y/N) - to be honest he hated her with a burning passion!
Why?
Not even he knew...
But things turned around when he... Got to know her. For, you see, one day - just before the bell rang - she helped him out big time and from then on they hit it off.
They started hanging out a lot more - they'd even sometimes walk home together! Soon, he introduced her to his six closest friends - Kim Seokjin; a 'punny' guy with a charming personality, Kim Namjoon; a kind and smart 'dude' with a knack for English, Park Jimin; an adorable, squishy 'smol bean' - as they liked to refer to him - , Kim Taehyung; a... Somewhat weird guy that was easy to get along with, Jeon Jungkook; the youngest of the group and also a bit of a rebel ((he need to respect his elders. *cough* Jimin *cough*)) and last, but definitely not least Jung Hoseok; a bubbly, cheerful guy - a literal ball of sunshine.
(Y/N) and the boys soon became very close, they were all like a big family. The boys adored (Y/N) and were always there to stick up for her - much to Yoongi's displeasure. Why? Well... Let's just say he had developed a 'small' crush on the chubby girl and to him it looked like his friends were flirting with his girl. So, being the swaggy gentleman he is, he made his way up to them and 'kindly' told them to back off.
"Wait. Do you..?! Oh my God! You like her! Haha Yoongi has a cruuuush!" Hoseok shouted.
"Shut up! Tell the whole world why don't you?!" Yoongi retorted, slapping his hand over the boy's mouth in an attempt to shut him up.
"Why don't you ask her out? I'm sure she likes you back!" Momma Jin suggested, knowing very well she did like him.
"Uh... I-I um... I don't know how to..." Yoongi softly spoke, casting his head down as he did so.
"Come on! That's easy! Here we'll help you!" Namjoon spoke up, not wanting to see his friend in a sad mood.
And so, the seven set to work on a plan to get Yoongi and (Y/N) together.
----Time Skip----
The next day, as (Y/N) went to open her locker, a heart-shaped piece of paper flew out. She curiously crouched down to pick it up and couldn't help but read it's contents.
"Dear (Y/N),
For months I have been developing feelings for you.
Every time I see - or even just think - about you my heart beats faster, my palms get sweaty and all I can think is "There she goes, the most beautiful, adorable, kind, sweet - not even words can describe her perfection - girl." And I can't help but hope you'll be mine - even if it's only for a day.
So please, even if you don't like me back, meet me behind the school after school.

She giggled at the note, a small blush dusting her plush cheeks as she re-read it for the hundredth time.
----Another Time Skip----
After school, (Y/N) wasted no time in running to the meeting spot.
Once there she was greeted by a sudden hug, looking up, she realized Yoongi was the one holding her.
After a small while he let go and held her hands, looking her directly in the eyes.
"(Y/N) you've read the letter so you know how I feel. So when I ask you this question, please answer it from the heart. Will you be my girlfriend?"
The second those words left his mouth she leant forward and kissed his soft lips. He held her close, wrapping his arms around her waist, and smiled into the kiss.
Jin was right. She did like him back.
