in a tiny, drearily suburban Ohio town, Audrey Hummel lived in a glorious reverie that could best be described as laughable. in the jungle that was high school, and in specific, William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, Audrey found herself at the bottom of the food chain. she was a loser, a nobody amongst a sea of apex predators.

living through years of slushy facials from the self-proclaimed higher class, Audrey and her fellow Glee club members developed a sort of thick skin for the prods and pokes that other, more popular teens would try and pain them with.

well, that is until a no-good, painfully annoying, bothersome scoundrel by the name of Sebastian Smythe began to take jabs at the down-on-their luck group of outcasts.

in the jungle of high school Glee clubs, Audrey found herself fighting to be the apex predator, and no insults from Sebastian would keep her from the position.

Insults, maybe not. But oddly timed flirting, that's another story entirely.
