Anakin and Padme : New dawn

The reunion

Anakin P.O.V

It's been a while since I have seen her  ....I know she remembers me she must it's only been 6 years . 

"Are you alright Anakin ...you seem pale" obi wan my master asks me

" I'm fine ...." I respond

"Anakin....it has nothing to do with senator admidala correct" he ask with a sheepish smile

" no ....nothing at all" I say trying to be confident

I'm pretty sure he sees right through it ..obi wan has been a father/brother figure to me for the past 11 years ....he's very understanding of me ...yet very strict and wise

" Anakin you have had a few night relations about senator admidala for the past two nights" he says woth a little giggle

I simply try to keep my cool before laughing with him

We reach the top main floor as we exit off I immediately notice it semi croweded ...we are greeted by her handmaiden Soren

" hello and welcome ...the duke and senator will see your shortly" she says

"Duke..I'm not sure we weren't briefed on anything with a duke??" I say

"Anakin ...lets just see what we are up too" obi wan tells

Suddenly a man about 5'10 waltz in the room with a mass entourage and comes to greet us

"Ahhh...the Jedi....I am Rush Clovis  duke of scipio, thank you so much for your services " reaches out to shake out hand

" master obi wan kenobi and my young padawan learner Anakin Skywalker , it's our pleasure " obi wan says

I shake the mans hand until I hear her

"Ani..." I hear the voice....the voice  that  yet I have dreamt of for years and years ...the girl whose captured my spirit since I've known her ....the one who saw me not as a slave but as someone with potential " is that really you"

suddenly the  entourage dispersed as the Young woman who looked at the age of twenty ...dressed so elegant yet classic gown with her curly brunette hair held up to expose the face of what look beautiful brought to be angelic  walks toward them

"P..padme" i say in a whisper yet only I can hear ...I engulf her fully ...so beautiful...so mature

" oh my goodness...you've...you've grown" she says slightly taken back by the young man who she has witnessed at such a tender youth amazing she realizes herself

" you haven't changed a bit ...milady...of course more beautiful I mean " I say a look on my face explains the trance I am in ...yet a slight stent of embarrassment

"Thank you Ani....Obi wan...or should I say master kenobi ..congratulations" she says

"As well as for you too senator" obi wan retorts

" thank you obi wan.....I take it you both have already met my fiancée, Clovis" she says

" ahhh yes ...congratulations " obi wan says

I look away but Obi wan can sense my feelings

He nudged me

" congrats" I say I falsely enthusiastic

" why yes ...I proposed a few weeks ago ...and well here we are" he says wrapping his arm around her ...I notice him give me a grin and certain type of glance

" yes ...here we are" she removed his arm
" please if you both would follow me ...obviously you here for different reasons than wedding details" padme says , we both follow padme to her office in her luxarous apartment

" please sit" she says to us both
I notice she has really matured ...it's different from when i last had seen here 6 years ago ...she's a woman ..a senator

" obi wan ...you are one of my dearest friends it means a lot that you and Anakin are here for me"
She says

"Of course...we wouldn't want to do anything esle" he says

" right...well it's no secret my life has been threaten for some time now ...a few attempts not as serious ...of course anything life threatening is serious but now ...it seems people are really! trying ...and I want to know who and why " she says

" well padme its ...very scary to see such thing have to happen" obi wan says

"Yes Indeed" she says

"Padme I can promise you Anakin and I will do our best to make sure you are safe" obi says to her

She slightly glanced at me when obi wan mentioned my name

" thank you obi wan ...I knew I can count on you" she says

She rises and we rise and shake hands , I follow obi wan out and look back  at padme ....she smile ...and she waves
I give a nod and proceed out

As we leave ....I began to look at the luxury apartment and really take in all

Once we reach the elevator obi wan questions me
"See Anakin ....that wasn't so bad " he said
" ah Jedi ....if there is anything i can do please let me know... i want to do my best to protect her" as rush meets us at the elevator

"Going somewhere sir" Obi wan asks

"Yes...Gelimi, one of my banks is merging with another..I'm making sure everything runs smoothly.." rush says while holding eye contact with Obi wan, I however look the other way distract myself seem uninterested

"Im sorry ...what was your name young Jedi..." he asks me

"Me ...oh Anakin...Anakin Skywalker"

We shake hands

"Well take care gentleman" he says and his elevator arrives first to take him to the upper level air doc

We wait for our elevator to take us Down
" well that was Awkward" Obi wan says

" it was fine master" he says

" I can tell you seemed a little ....annoyed " he says with a smile in his voice

" the senator is a beautiful woman it's alright" he says " you can be jealous" teasing me

" I have no idea what you are talking about master" I say

" of course not ....let's report to the counsel and return later "  he says to me ...we head to the counsel with our update
