Anakin and Padme : New dawn

The senator

The cold night secretes shivers ....a coool breeze ....tightens every muscle in my body ....a voice faint yet so familiar ....
Ani...help me ...Anakin please ....Ani...we need you ...distant cries form children ...suddenly to go black

I suddenly wake up ...sweating barely able to catch my breath ....I look out form my dorm room with in the temple over looking the city of Corusant  .....I drift off thinking of my mother and I wonder how she is doing ...if she misses me...then I suddenly land on padmes apartment...I smile to myself and turn away.

Padme pov

I'm still at my office typing some reports and Clovis walks in

" your still awake" he says as he comes closer to me

"I have to fill this report for the senator gailem tomorrow" I say shyly

"Come on, work on it tomorrow...come to bed ...." he rubs his hands on my shoulder ...I slightly shiver at his touch

" Clovis ....i can't ...I need this ready I'm sorry but I'll make it up to you " I tell him as i kiss his cheek

" alright.....I'll be asleep ..just come to bed " he said

I continue ....finishing  my work and yet stay in my office...i can't seem to focus ...i look around my offices in attempt to find something to and go distract myself with but i can't..I look into the hallway to check if i see anyone. After I close the door and proceed to go on my data server and search the Jedi Index, and I type in Anakins name. I look  at his image displayed and Service of duty . He looks so handsome in his robes and all serious...it amazes me how much he has grown and how attractive he has become..he has his mother's eyes but ...his smile and that look...it's something else. After knowing him for ten years I can't believe this is our first reunion. I try to get back to my work but I'm not in the mood to focus, I grab a glass of wine that was gifted to me by senator bail organa and his husband France. I pour a glass and look over corusant my eyes land upon the Jedi temple ..I smile  thinking of Anakin again surprisingly...I'm in such a disbelief the last I saw him he was 13 years old a kind and funny spirit and it's amazing to see him a young Jedi
..
I leave my office and head to the fresher I turn on the shower and close the door ...the hot heat engulf the washroom I stand in the mirror to look at my self ...I continue to ask my self is this worth it ....is this what I want to do...I strip of my clothing and stare and my naked body ...from my breasts all too my thighs....I feel slightly disgusted about my life at this moment being with a man older than me by 20 years, just to bond a relationship between his world and mine. I sometime think that this shouldn't have been mylife ...i loved being queen but I wish i could have stayed a farm girl with daddy ...followed  my sister into nursing school and teaching...marry a nice man and have two kids on the lake and live there ...a nice simple life...but my responsibility to my country all come first.  And then there is Clovis ...a bachelor for most of his life and then all of a sudden wants me ... he was nice and rich and slightly attractive but we don't have much in common....I hate how he tries to act like my father as if he is doing something that benefits me or doing things i didn't know about...or once when he asked me not to speak at this formal gala, like i am a former queen...i will always address any affairs to Naboo.  I learned to love him but and i do but....i don't know something isn't clicking.

I sit at my desk looking at a few more reports and my good friend mos montha comes in....

" good morning padme dear ..." she says as she enters

I rise up to greet her with a hug

" how are you darling" she asks

" I'm great ....really ....I was just finishing reading bails report before I send all of the reports to gailem" I say returning to my seat
Moss sits in a chair informant of my desk ....I can see she is studying me ...I do my best to mask my exhaustion

"Padme....I don't know if this is appropriate to ask ...but is everything alright you are very tense and seemed stressed  ..." she tells me

" what....oh ( I laugh to play it off) yes , everything is fine....just the assassination attempts,  the wedding and family and everything"  I say to her

"Are you sure ...these attempts are practically regular and haven't seemed to bother you as much"she says

" yea I'm fine ...it's just taking its toll that's all but I'll be fine ...let's talk about this bills " I ensure her

"Before we do that, Padme you need to a getaway. I don't like seeing you like this. Think about it ok , i know this is our life but your young. Have a life i didn't get a chance too. i love you" she tells me as she holds my hand

" thank you, i appreciate it...I will...we'll talk some more about it later on...i can agree this is getting too much" I said

"Good! As long as you realized" she said

"ok so
i had a few questions and notes on this page " I begin but she cuts me off

"I came to ask you about the  Jedi" she says

I look at her with confusion

" yes......odd but....padme ....last night someone broke into my home ....completely vandalized my office and ....  our files went missing" she tells me

" what of the Jedi ...." I ask with curiosity

"only the Jedi know that I keep the files on every single senator within our galaxy....and I'm asking you ....as a friend and colleague....can we trust them" she says

"....moss....the Jedi restore peace and justice within our galaxy they saved me a couple of times...even currently with these assassination attempts" I tell her "

"I understand the Jedi are great protectors but this is all of our lives and families all on paper..i haven't called anyone because i don't know who to trust ....i ask you in confidence can we trust them" she said

"how about I ask a old friend of mine whom i trust with my life to investigate for you they are very very trust worthy moss trust me"  I assure her

She takes a pause " alright ....may you come aswell" she asks

" of course ...." I says

A knock on the door

"Senators .....sir bail organa is waiting for you" handmaiden dorme informs

" thank you...dorme, let's get going shall we" I Express

We leave my office and head toward the senatorial hall and wait to begin our meeting.
