Behind this smile
lay a thousand tears shed
just for you.
How could you have done that to me?
You put my heart through agony.
I cried and cried, just for you.
I pulled myself away from the world a little, too.
A lone and sad hermit is what I'd become.
But I broke through my shell.
I laughed again, and I meant it.
All the time I could've wasted,
well, I had spent it.
