"Stop spending your time looking in the mirror Johnny." My mother scolded, giving me a glare. She grabs the pocket mirror from my small hands and places it on top of a shelf.

"I was only admiring myself, mom. You told me I'm handsome, I wanna see for myself. " I said, hoping she would give it back to me.

My mother crouched down to my level and rubbed my back. She was looking at me with worry in her eyes.

"You are, my love. But you can't spend so much time with the mirror, you might end up falling in love with yourself." Mom joked.

I shook my head, smiling. That could never happen.
