You and Lori where in you're way to the ice cream place that wasn't far from the skate park about 3 minuets later you get there you get out and you open the car door for Lori she blushed so she was hiding her face to not show it you walk to the shop and you opened the door for Lori she giggled a bit

Lori: "what a gentleman"

You blushed a bit and walked in it was you're generic ice cream place you walk up to the counter and you let Lori order first then you ordered Lori got rocky road ice cream while you got cookie dough ice cream

Clerk: "that will be 17.45$"

You paid the clerk as let him keep the change you and Lori sat down on the tables they had and began to eat you're ice cream and talk

Lori: "(y/n) can I ask you a question?"

(Y/n): "of course Lori go ahead"

Lori: "what brings you to Michigan?"

(Y/n): "my dad wanted to leave Long Beach"

Lori: "why is that?"

(Y/n): "my mom died in a car wreck last year and my dad was a wreck I was too but my dad was worst so he decided we should leave Long Beach someplace far away and here we are royal woods Michigan"

Lori looked at you in shock and scared and worried all in one facial expression

Lori: "(y/n) I'm so sorry I didn't know that happened"

(Y/n): "Lori it's ok sure I miss her but I need to move on you know I can't morn forever but I do love and miss her"

Lori felt so guilty for asking that question she thought they moved for a job or something but that wasn't the case

(Y/n) "so Lori how did you learn some Spanish? when we were studying you knew some words no problem"

Lori: "I learned them from my boyfriend bobby"

When you heard that word you're heart broke on two and it was smashed and into dust

(Y/n): "oh I didn't know you have a boyfriend"

Lori: "he moved away a few months ago that's why I don't walk in the halls with him or on dates actually (y/n) can I ask you a question?"

(Y/n): "sure Lori"

Lori: "let's say that you were in a long distance relationship but you feel like you're not as close as you were starting out"

(Y/n): "well i would say maybe it should be over I mean if they make you feel like that that's not a good sign also it's kinda hard to do long distance relationship especially if that other person isn't making a effort but that's my opinion"

Lori looked down that the third person that told her that maybe she should just end it with bobby but she don't know she is confused

(Y/n): "Lori? hey Lori are you ok?"

Lori: "huh oh sorry yea I'm ok just thinking anyway what type of music do you like?"

(Y/n): "anything really when I listen to music I jam out doesn't really matter what it is what about you Lori"

Lori: "I love boys will be boys!"

She gave out a little fan girl squill you then chuckled a bit that brings back memories

Lori: "what? why are you laughing?"

(Y/n): "my sister is a huge fan of them I remember the first time she went to a concert well I was there too manly because I bought the tickets for her birthday and she wanted me to go with her"
