You're POV

You woke up the next morning realizing you have to go to school so you get out of bed grabbed you're towel and went to go take a shower about 10 minuets later you go to you're room to look for a outfit you grabbed a (f/c) shirt with baggy dark blue pants and you're shoes after you were done you walked down stairs to get some breakfast you opened the fridge and and took out some pizza poppers you heat it up and began to eat as you are eating you hear you're Dad walking down the stairs

Dad: "hey son how you doing this morning?"

Y/n: "good really good Dad"

Dad: "that Lori Loud girl sure is a sweet girl came to the house to give you you're backpack"

Y/n: "yea I didn't know she would come all the way to the house to give me my backpack"

Dad: "your acting like the house is 50 miles away it's right next to her"

Y/n: "it's the thought that counts"

You're Dad laughed for a moment

Dad: "well I think she gots a thing for you we both know you like her"

Y/n: "dad come on she doesn't like me she just sees me as a friend I think I need to drop this feeling towards her it's not going to happen so I think that I just need to chill and be the friend that she wants"

Dad: "wow you really do care about her"

Y/n: "what do you mean?"

Dad: "you're looking out for her happiness instead of yours you want to be with her but you feel like being her friend and looking out for her is important that a real man son that would make a great boyfriend believe it or not that's how I met you're mother we talked in school a lot I had a thing for her but her happiness was more important to me she was dating a jerk at the time and well long story short she had problems with the guy I beat him up and we started dating"

Y/n: "yea Dad I know the story"

You're Dad chuckled then you went to go brush you're teeth after that you grabbed you're bag and skateboard you're Dad sees you in the living room

Dad: "are you going to skate to school?"

Y/n: "yea it's a beautiful day you know"

Dad: "ok"

You walked to the door

Y/n: "ok later Dad see you after school"

Dad: "bye son have a good day"

Y/n: "you too"

You got out the house and closed the door behind you you turn to the right to see the loud family getting everything together to go to school they see you

Everyone: "hey (y/n)"

Y/n: "hi guys"

You were a bit disappointed you didn't see Lori there she must be getting ready or something so you rolled out to school and 20 minuets later you made to to school before you entered you strapped you're skateboard on the back of you're backpack then you walked in in the main hall way you say nick nick see you and walks to you he then he puts his fist in front of you and you did the fist bump with him

Nick: "hey (y/n) sorry we had to ditch you on Saturday something came up"

Y/n: "it's fine thanks to you guys not showing up I actually got to hang out with Lori Loud"
