Class 19 Sensei To The Rescue

"Akabane Karma...?" Shin murmured.

Like the hell he cares about this man's name. He didn't give damn a care about it. All that he is concerned about right now is how to get out of there unscathed with Hikari. He doubt that Karma would let him go effortlessly.

As Shin saw that Karma seems get serious, by the change of look in his eyes, he shuddered and kind of scared of him.

'His aura is really something else... ' Shin thought as he forced himself to get into fighting stance.

Seconds passed in silence between the two. Karma is the one who made the first move. He took a step forward and was about to attack Shin until a loud sound stopped him.

"Stop that, Karma! " A loud shout resonated in the air, and the voice was very familiar in Karma's ear.

Karma smirked, knowing who is it all too well even though the person's arrival was blocked from his sight, because of Shin who stood before him.

Shin turned around to see his teacher behind him. His face brightened.

"Nagisa-sensei!"

"Long time no see, Nagisa-sensei!" Karma greeted Nagisa playfully.

Nagisa's face went red. Even after all these times... He really doesn't change.

"May I ask you to stop right now, Karma? I want to take care of my students first. "Nagisa said while walking to their way.

He kneel down in front of Hikari, checking her wounds. After he was certain that she passed out from exhaustion, he took out his handkerchief and wipe out the bloods out of her face.

Then, he dialed an ambulance for help. Since health isn't his forte. He also called Yuu, considering how close he is to Hikari.

Yuu was surprised at first, as expected. But he immediately keep his sense calm in order to analyze the situation better. He also informed that he would come to the hospital she was about to go.

After he was done, Nagisa turned back while sighing,  "So... What are you doing here, Karma? And more importantly...  You are about to beat up my student, aren't you?" Nagisa glanced at Shin who flinched, then moved back his sight to Karma.

Karma grinned evilly, "Of course not, Nagisa! I was just testing him!"

"Yeah, testing him by beating him up. "

Shin couldn't follow the conversation between the two.

" Uh... Why are you chatting all friendly with this guy, Nagisa-sensei? Isn't he our enemies. You told me that anyone who's here is the one who beat up Nagisa. "

" Sorry, Shin-san. It seems that my calculation is wrong. Anyway, despite how this person acted, he is not our enemy. "

" You know each other? "

" Well, yeah, during my middle school." Nagisa answered shortly. He did not want Shin to dig deeper into this problem. He also saw that at least the wound Karma gave him isn't a big problem. But still, a wound is a wound. Nagisa wouldn't let  anything to happen to his students. "You should check yourself too once you arrived at the hospital."

Shin was about to protest, but he give up since he knew that his sensei is a stubborn one and he is really too tired now to argue. He nodded in response.

"I will follow you. " Karma suddenly said while eying Nagisa silently giving him a sign.

'I will tell you more about this matter. You deserve to know it, or rather, it's better for you to know it. '

' I know. You are not the type of person who would wandering in random without goals. I was planning to ask it later. '

Once they heard a siren's sound, they immediately moved out to the street and they move out to the hospital.

Nagisa was waiting for the doctors news anxiously. He knew that it shouldn't be bad but still, he is scared. What would he do if this accident heavily affected her health? He didn't want to imagine him, the guilt would be left in his heart for lifetime.

"I'm sure she will be alright. The injury isn't that bad. " Nagisa's could only nodded to Karma who tried to calm him.

Karma stood beside Nagisa, folding his hand and calmly wait for Nagisa until his business is done here. He took out his hand phone until he saw a young boy who is ironically seems to be similar to his own appearance through the window.

The boy slide the door open. His face is covered in his own sweat. His breath is rather ragged. Karma could tell that this boy was trying her best to come here as soon as possible.

The doctor who was examining Hikari turned up his head to see the newcomer.

"Are you from her family? "

"I guess you could say so. How is her condition?" Yuu asked between breath.

"Her condition is stable, and her wounds isn't anything that life threatening, it was just light wounds. But she collapsed due to exhaustion. She could probably left tomorrow." The doctor informed.

Nagisa shoulder finally relaxed and he was smiling happily. He sighed in relief and Yuu did the same.

The doctor then bid his goodbye because he wants to check up other patients. He once again reminded them that Hikari needs a good rest. Both Yuu and Nagisa thanked the doctor as he left.

"Thank goodness... She is alright... " Yuu murmured.

" Yeah, I'm so happy to hear that. " Nagisa said while sitting at the chair beside the bed. He then realized that he hadn't introduce Yuu to Karma.

He glanced at Karma." Karma, this is my classrooms' class president, Nakamoto Yuu. Yuu-san, this is Akabane Karma, my old friend. "

Yuu smiled at Karma," Nice to meet you, Karma-san"

"The feeling is mutual. "

"Sensei, I'm going to call her family first, to inform them about Hikari." Yuu said as he exited the room.

"Yeah, that would help me out, Yuu-san. "

As soon as they heard Yuu's footsteps fading, the mood turned real serious. Nagisa stood up and went to Karma's side. He eyed Karma carefully.

" Karma... Why did you come to that back alley? Don't tell me that the government is involved in this. "

Karma smiled sadly at Nagisa. He actually wanted to have a better time and place for reunion with his old rival. Who would have thought that they met while he is in the middle of work?

"Sadly, your hypothesis is right on spot Nagisa. The government is involved in this."

A/N : Yeah, yeah, I know how late this chapter is. Just voice out your complains if you want, the reason why I haven't been updating is because... Well, I don't really know. Lately, I felt like I couldn't write anymore. School is getting busier each day.
