A/N: GUESS WHO'S BACK FROM THE DEAD AGAIN?! Yeah. That's right. Me. The author. The person that holds your feelings in the palm of her hand. Super sorry for not updating. I went through some author's block and now all the stuff from my past is coming back to haunt me and giving me anxiety. Yayyyyyy. One question though, I read through the whole story and I'm wondering if you guys think A: the story started getting too weird and out of hand and spiraled into crap. B: my writing quality started to deteriorate. Or C: both. Or maybe none. I just need to know.

"Anything?" Ford asked curiously. "You are actually willing to go against a demon for her?"

"Mhm," the man replied. "Always have been."

Ford did remember (Y/N) mentioning an ex, but in his haste he paid no heed. Ford needed someone who hated Bill just as much as him. And this man seemed to be exactly who he was looking for.

Dipper stayed well away from the strange man, glaring at him the whole way. Ford did not seem to recognize the waves of pure evil radiating off of him. The way he took his stride with those unsettlingly long legs, similar to that of a spider, was not something Dipper could stand to watch. When they made it back to the camp, Dipper realized how long they had been walking as the sun began to rise over the mountain top. Strangely, just before the sun's rays bathed the mountain in a warm glow, Dipper could have thought he saw something yellow sitting atop the triangular rock.

~Your POV~

You were woken up by the sound of footsteps walking into the camp. You panicked for a second, thinking the park rangers came to throw you all in jail. But a quick look outside told you it was just Dipper and Ford. And... someone else. You could hardly see them, their clothes blending into the snow as the sun reflected off of their pale skin. You crawled outside of your tent to confront the three.

Dipper turned to you when he heard your feet crunching the snow. You could see a glare quickly disappear from his face as he walked forward to you. Despite trying his best to hide it, you could see clear worry in Dipper's expression. "What's wrong?" you asked quietly, your voice raspy from recently waking up.

"I-it's... there's something wrong..." Dipper confessed vaguely. "I-I'm afraid this isn't going to end well... but Ford didn't listen..."

Just from Dipper's sentence, you began to feel the already existing dread begin to build. "What... what do you mean...?"

Dipper didn't say anything more. He didn't have to. Because right after you asked your question, you heard the voice that made your blood run cold.

"(Y/N)! There you are! You don't know how much I missed you!" he called.

The unknown character that you couldn't recognize earlier took a step forward. There he was. In the usual white clothing accented with black, the blonde hair- messier than Bill would allow it to be, and finally, the piercing blue eyes that stared into your very soul. He smiled, a bone-chilling smile that shook you to your very core. You stepped behind Dipper, under no circumstances allowing yourself to be within five feet of him.

His pale face accented the nearly yellow blonde hair, and his eyes shone through the chalk white of his skin. That was a notable thing about him. His face never changed color. Never. Bill's face was usually a slight shade of pink, accenting his yellow eyes. However...

As you stared at him, the adrenaline coursing through you seeming to slow down time, you began to think about the body Bill had possessed. It hadn't occurred to you exactly whose body it was until now. You didn't even think about the physical similarities. You cursed at yourself for being so stupid. You allowed that dreadful loneliness you were feeling to cloud your judgement. And now here you were, staring at someone you never wished to see again.

He stretched a thin, spidery hand toward you, as if expecting you to take it and allow him to twirl you into his arms. You cringed away from him, gripping onto Dipper's arm. Dipper flinched slightly from the sudden pain.

His skeletal face fell from a smile to what looked like sadness. "Oh come on, (Y/N)... I've changed! You should know this!" he pleaded.

You simply shook your head, staying silent.

He frowned. "Can't you at least talk to me? Say something?"

You peeked out from behind Dipper, "Fuck you, Jack."

"Well... I guess that was something," Jack sighed.

And like that, you were silent again, still clinging onto Dipper's arm like a small child. Ford walked over. "So... you've introduced yourself?" he asked, as if he didn't give a damn that the man he was talking to was the man who practically ruined the rest of your life.

"Well... didn't need much of an introduction," Jack replied with a chuckle. "It'll just take her a bit to get used to me again."

Oh how you hated the way he spoke about you. Like you were some pet. Some animal to leash up and command, slap on the head when you didn't do exactly as you were told. "It'll just take her a bit to get used to me again." What were you?! Some dog whose owner had been for a year?! A cat who escaped?!

You scowled, a look in your eye that could kill. Damn him if he ever thought you would just trot right back to him, hoping for praise and a little treat.

Ford smiled. "That's fine. I need to speak with you for a moment, in private."

Jack nodded and followed Ford as he walked off.

The moment they were gone, you stood back up and turned Dipper to look at you, directly into your eyes. "THAT?!" you practically screamed. "That is what's 'not going to end well?!' THAT is what's going to get us ALL killed!"

Dipper put up his hands like he was being caught by the police. "I know! I tried! But Ford wouldn't listen! He thinks you're just going to let Bill manipulate you! Let him get into your head and tell you that he won't hurt you and he'll love you if you let him take over the world!" Dipper replied in a rush.

"Do you all hold THAT little faith in me?! You think I'm going to just give up and let Bill have his way?! Because why?! I dated Satan with a Silver Tongue and now I have issues?! I think you all forget one thing!" you were fuming at this point. More than you ever had been. You were ripping into Dipper like a starved predator. "I DON'T WANT TO BE CONTROLLED. AND YOU CAN ALL SCREW OFF!"

You stormed off, so angry that your heated face was giving off steam in the cold mountain air. You walked into the tent and grabbed your stuff and extra supplies. You were not going to allow yourself to be anywhere near Jack, nor anyone who dared to trust him. So you were going to leave. On your own. You didn't need anyone to help you, and certainly not anyone to tell you what to do. So off you went while Dipper helplessly watched, subconsciously rooted to his spot.

At this point you didn't even care whether or not Bill ended the world and created his own. Besides...

It might be nice for everything to be under your control for once.
