Leilani Gilsit - "Sooo" Zeriah hinted looking at Leilani who just scrolled on her phone
"Leilani!" Zeriah rolled her eyes
The two were sitting outside eating their lunch from the cafeteria
"Yes?" Leilani looked up
"Your telling me you haven't heard about jordans Halloween party" Zeriah bucking her eyes
"Yes I have"
"And?"
"And I don't want to go"
"Why?!"
Leilani was never really the partying type but when she would go she would have a damn good time but she tried to stay away from them her main focus was graduating this year so she could go to Princeton next year
"Well first this year is like a study hall for me and didn't he graduate like 2 years ago?"Leilani scrunched her face up
"Yea but it's not just a highschool party everybody is invited and I have this really cute sexy costume I got from fashion nova"
Leilani looked at her bestfriend "come on lei one party is not gonna stop you from graduating"
"It could" she shrugged " its Halloween!"
"Fine I'll go only because I have a good outfit to wear"
"Yes! I'll see you tonight then girly!" Zeriah said as the bell ringed indicating lunch was over
They threw their food away and went their separate ways since this year they rarely had classes together
"Leilani!" She turned to see Keyshawn her ex boyfriend "Hey Keyshawn" Leilani smiled, even though the two broke up they were still cool with eachother, he didn't cheat on her or anything they just had better things to focus on Keyshawn was working hard to get a football scholarship to college and Leilani was focusing on her school work

"Nothing just seeing what's going on with the kid" Keyshawn threw his arm around Leilani's shoulder standing tall to her short figure
"Nothing much just ready to get home school has me exhausted"
"Oh ok what you doing tonight?"
"Going to this party Zeriah begged me to go to"
Keyshawn licked over his thick pink lips looking at his ex girlfriend "shit I wasn't gonna go but since you going I might as well" Keyshawn said stopping at Leilani's locker watching her get her things out
Leilani looked at him giving him a playful smirk before biting her lip "ok"
It was silent as she took her books in her hand as Keyshawn still stood there "What?" She said turning around
"You know I miss you lani"
Leilani could feel her cheeks getting hot and to be honest, she missed Keyshawn too "I know the feeling"
"You want to talk later?" Keyshawn asked "uh yeah-" the bell rung cutting Leilani off "Well I gotta go I'll text you," He said looking at her in awe before walking off
Leilani didn't know what they were gonna talk about but she wasn't the slightest bit prepared

School was over and Leilani was waiting outside for her brother leaving one to many voicemails for him
"Bryson its freezing! hurry up" she said into the phone before hanging up again, she heard some voices that were coming from the large gym doors, "alright man ill see you later" she turned and saw Keyshawn coming out of the door with a bunch of the football players, she guessed that they had practice today
he gripped onto the towel around his neck before making eye contact with Leilani she let out a small smile watching him jog his way over to her "hey..what you doing out here school over" Keyshawn asked "my brother taking to long to pick me up" Leilani rolled her eyes
"well it doesn't look like he coming anytime soon", Leilani nodded her head in agreement "I could take you home that way we can talk too"
"ok" the two started walking towards his car and he opened the door for her letting leilani climb in the passenger seat before he made his way around his all black 2017 BMX series 5
"you hungry or anything?" Keyshawn said looking at leilani trying to make conversation "nah i got leftovers from last night", "your mom always had some good food when I came over" he reminisced "she did, didn't she" leilani chuckled
"but this is what i wanted to talk to you about"
"keyshawn" leilani said not knowing if she was ready "you broke up with me" she reminded
"and that might have been one of the worst decisions I ever made...listen lani... i miss you and the real reason why i broke up with you was because i felt that since we would be going our seperate ways for college soon, and i..and i was falling in love..falling deep for you leilani and i didnt want no short term type stuff with you i wanted to be able to enjoy it and college was going to mess it all up" Keyshawn said holding a fist to his mouth while his other hand gripped the steering wheel, Leilani bit her lip looking down at her thighs she didn't know what to say
They pulled in the driveway and she looked over at him "you don't got to make a decision now but just let me know aight" he kissed the top of her head and she nodded smiling before opening the car door and climbing out
Jogging up her steps she watched Keyshawn back out and drive down the street, she used her house key to unlock the door before going inside immediately hearing noise
"Wassup lani" Bryson said playing his game, she just rolled her eyes and smacked her lips "attitude attitude" he paused the game and walked over to his sister
"Bryson! Did you not get my text?" Leilani practically screamed getting upset
"Nah" he went straight to the fridge "I swear your so inconsiderate and don't think about nothing but your ugly ass small dick self"
"Shut yo stank hoe" Bryson mushed Leilani's head making her stumble back before she full on attacked him right in the midst of her father walking in home retuning from work
"Hey hey! What's going on"
"Dad you said Bryson could have his own car as long as he picks me up right?"
"Lani I honestly forgot and it's my damn car just because you want to fail a drivers test don't mean shit your a senior in highschool!"
"Shut the fuck up Bryson your 20 and still live in your parents house at least I have a future"
"Fuck you bit-"
"Alright that's enough lani go upstairs y'all making my head hurt" Robert said placing his suitcase on the table
Rolling her eyes lani stomped upstairs slamming her door, her phone started ringing and she looked to see it was Zeriah
"What?"
"I'm coming over keep the door unlocked"
Zeriah hung up and Leilani was used to her bestfriend doing this so she just waited for her to get her so they could both start getting ready for the party
