Chapter 9

Guilt

Yoongi kept looking at Jimin, waiting for a response. He wondered how the other would react, and since he wasn't saying or doing anything it made Yoongi anxious. He knew he was pushing his limits, but he wasn't sure on what to do to make Jimin talk. Honestly he just wanted some actual answers from Jimin about his and Jae's relationship. Yoongi, along with the others, cared about Jimin so knowing that Jimin was having a rough time effected all of them. He wished for Jimin to be happy and he didn't seem to be happy together with Jae.

"Jimin, talk with us. We're all worried about you.", Yoongi continued, his eyes traveling the younger's face to try and read him. Jimin's eyes were looking at the floor, and his lips were trembling. He looked like he was about to cry, and the sight broke Yoongi's heart.

"Don't push me into things, Yoongi... not you too."

Yoongi tilted his head slightly to the side in confusion. What did he mean by that? Was he talking about the kiss? Yoongi just wanted to try and make Jimin talk, and doing something extreme seemed to be the only option since Jimin wouldn't talk with any of them no matter what they did. If he wouldn't even talk with his best friend Taehyung then Yoongi knew it was something serious, and Jae had seemed sketchy from the start.

"What do you mean?"

Suddenly the younger burst into tears, and Yoongi was shocked. It was just so sudden, and Yoongi never thought his actions would make Jimin cry like this. Loud sobs left him, and tears streamed down his face like there was no tomorrow. His whole body was shaking, and it seemed like he had been holding this in for quite some time. Jimin's voice sounded like sad music, and Yoongi couldn't do much else other than hugging him and apologizing to Jimin over and over.

"I-I don't want this anymore... I'm tired...", Jimin's voice was weak and helpess, and Yoongi's arms hugged him tight to keep him up on his feet.

"Shh, shh... I'm sorry Jimin... We all love you, just please talk to us if something's bothering you.", Yoongi whispered while moving his hand up and down Jimin's back as Jimin cried into his shoulder.

Suddenly a knock could be heard from the door, and Jimin's cries abruptly stopped as he tried his hardest to keep his voice down.

"What are you doing in there?", he heard Namjoon's voice ask, seemingly concerned and suspicious.

"Just give us a few more moments."

Jimin wiped his cheeks with the sleeves of his sweater and followed Yoongi out from the bathroom. He felt humiliated and stupid for breaking down like that in front of him, and he also felt guilty for letting Yoongi kiss him and for enjoying the kiss. Jimin was an adult and in an adult relationship, he should not go around kissing random people. Sure, Jae might not win the boyfriend award of the year, but he was still his boyfriend.

As they returned to the livingroom he saw Jungkook and Hoseok glancing at their direction, while Taehyung was laying in Jungkook's lap and looking at the ceiling while giggling.

God, his friend could look so stupid.

They returned to their previous seats, and Jimin kept his head low in shame. It was like cheating, wasn't it? He had just cheated on his boyfriend!

If Jae found out he... he would-

"So...", Namjoon was trying to break the silence, but seemed pretty lost for words. It was like everyone had figured out what had happened between him and Yoongi, and it only brought more guilt to Jimin. He kept screwing things up.

He also kept pitying himself, and he didn't like it. He didn't like the person he had become.

"Bangtan Snails just released a new album! It's pretty lit!", Hoseok suddenly said, and soon they started talking about Bangtan Snail's new album; they forgot about the awkward situation.

Jimin let out a small sigh and brought his knees up to rest his chin ontop of them with some strands of hair falling over his eyes.

Yoongi kept glancing over at Jimin. Had it been dumb of him to kiss Jimin like that and put him in a corner? Probably. The thing was however that Yoongi was growing desperate. He wanted to help Jimin so bad, but Jimin was refusing everyone's help.

I'll just leave it for now. It's better to let him enjoy the rest of the night with everyone.

"Jiminie! Drink!", Taehyung yelled between giggles and held up a glass of alcohol in front of Jimin who sighed and brought it to his mouth drink some.

Yoongi spotted Hoseok's heart eyes as he looked at Taehyung, and he felt incredibly bad for the male.

All these years, and nothing had happened between them?

"Hoseok-ah."

"Hm?"

Yoongi saw how Hoseok forced himself to look away from Taehyung, and he grinned slightly to himself. So that girl was all a lie, huh?

"What is it, Yoongs?"

"Nothing.", Yoongi shrugged and turned to look at Jungkook who held back a laugh as he also noticed the way Hoseok looked at Taehyung.
