Chapter 24: Date (Part 1)

Shin Seulji's POV

A smile formed on my lips seeing my husband peacefully sleeping beside me. Not that long after, his eyes fluttered open, and when our gazes met, he smiled at me sweetly. He pulled me closer to him with his arm wrapped around my waist. I burried my face on his chest as I wrapped my arm around his waist.

He planted a kiss on the top of my head. "Did you have a good sleep?" He asked. I felt the vibration his voice box produced, making me slightly move away from his chest. "Yeah, I did," I answered.

"What do you want to do today?" He asked.

"Nothing. I just want to stay here at home. I'm actually scared of going out right now."

"Please don't think about it that much. I'm right beside you and I promise to never leave you until we get back here."

I sighed in defeat. Going out isn't bad, right? I trust Yoongi and I know that he'll do anything to keep me away from danger even if she's looking at us from afar. "Okay, fine."

"So what do you want to do today?" He asked again.

"I actually want to have a typical boyfriend and girlfriend date. You know, like just going to the cinemas, a walk on the park with ice cream on our hands as we tell stories to each other."

"But you're my wife." He jutted his bottom lip out to pout his tempting lips.

"Exactly, but we have never been through a boyfriend and girfriend relationship. I only knew you as my ex's friend then knew about being betrothed to you two weeks before our wedding and we fell in love with each other when we're already married. We're busy with our works that our dates are just a dinner outsiㅡ" I was halted and I froze when his lips kissed mine. I'm still in shock that even if his lips are moving passionately on mine, my eyes are still gazing on his face which was so close to mine.

He pulled away while I'm still frozen from what he has done. I blinked two times before continuing what I'm saying as if nothing happened. "As I was saying, we never went to the cinemas together, ate ice cream in the park together nor even ate streefoods together. It's not bad to try something new with our relationship, right?"

A smirk then formed his lips. Ooh, I have a feeling that this man is thinking of something that ain't good. "Yah! What's with the look?"

"Oh nothing, my wife. I just thought about something when you mentioned trying something new." He wiggled his eyebrows.

I slapped his chest. "Yah! Yoongi, stop being a pervert youㅡ" he covered my mouth to cut my statement.

"You talk too much, Seulji. You want me to make those tasty lips shut again?" He asked, brushing his thumb gently on my bottom lip.

Why is he like this? Seriously, after my release at the hospital, he became sweeter than before and he's even being romantic in the simpliest way. I'm not used to this and I'm definitely not complaining because I like it, hehe.

"Tss. You just want a kiss from me," I said, smirking.

"You know how much I'm addicted with those sweet lips of yours."

"Shut up." I pulled away from his embrace, done with him being so cheesy, and left the bed to do my morning routine. I went down the kitchen and started cooking breakfast for the both of us.

Holly stood up and tapped my leg with his paw while I was making egg rolls. He must be hungry. As I finished cooking the egg rolls and had set it on the table, I picked Holly up and took his dog food inside the cabinet and poured some on his plate. I placed him down and patted his head. "Eat well, Holly."
