Will rode his bike home with Mike later that day, knowing Lucas and Dustin along with Max and El tended to hang out after.
"Hey Will..?"
"Hm?"
"So you know that stupid dance that they're having on Saturday?" Mike asks, looking at his boyfriend as they walk up the hill.
"Homecoming? Yes."
"Do you Maybe wanna go with me? I know we didn't get to dance together a few years ago but I want this to be different. I'm ready to be bullied by Troy if it means slow dancing with you."
Will blushes, dropping his bike down gently to hug Mike.
"Of course. I was waiting for you to ask." Will sniffled a bit.
"I'm willing to dance with you, even if I get my ass kicked." Mike kissed Will's head, listening to Will giggle, music to his ears indeed.
"Agreed."
