"I'm Yuna's childhood friend."

Youngmin states seriously, looking directly at Kim Donghyun with such an intensity that Donghyun laughs awkwardly and Yuna throws a pillow at him with a 'stop intimidating him just because we're together and we live together!'

Yeah, they really confirmed that Donghyun's moving in for the summer because they're both going separate ways for college.

"I'm not!" Youngmin shakes his head, "I'm just really curious how this happened so fast because I'm pretty sure you didn't even know him, like, two years ago."

"I moved to the high school in the middle of the semester in junior year." Donghyun then chimes in, running his hand through his hair, "I'm from Daejeon."

"And I'm from Busan." Youngmin says, and he's surprised to see Donghyun nodding at what he said, "Yuna talks a lot about you. Kept talking about how close you both were before."

Yuna, in between all of this, is lying down on her stomach on the floor and tapping on her phone. She's acting like she's not listening, but she has this small smile on her face and a light pink blush is dusting her cheeks.

Youngmin sighs, smiling as well, then gets up from his seat, tossing the pillow she threw at him on the couch, as he excuses himself to go back to his unit because he still has to unpack his things. It's only then that Yuna looks up, grinning.

"What are you laughing at?" Youngmin raises his eyebrows.

Yuna then holds up her phone, where a video of this fluffy alpaca running- is that hopping?!-  is playing on her phone. "It looks like you."

He just chuckles lightly, crouches down to flick her forehead gently, earning a whine from her, before he bids them both a 'see you later' and lets himself out of her- their now shared apartment.

When he lets himself inside his own apartment, it's quiet, his mind is blank and the room is bare of any decoration. It's plain and he takes a deep breath before continuing to fix his room and bring it back to the way it used to look like for the next couple of hours.

"Oh, hi, Daehwi." Yuna smiles at the younger boy when she walks into the elevator and he's standing inside, giving her a cheerful wave and a hello.

"Where are you going?" Daehwi asks her.

"The convenience store."

Daehwi's mouth forms an 'o' shape as he nods, and they both step out of the elevator at the apartment lobby. "Well, I'm going to meet Somi at the park. Say hi to Donghyun for me, okay?"

She laughs and nods, watching Daehwi run out of the apartment building to go to the park a few blocks away. Daehwi's a high school freshman who lives on the floor above hers, and he's really cheerful, she finds it so endearing.

She picks up a few bags of snacks at the store and some drinks (both alcoholic and non) then takes the long way around back to the apartment. There's an antique shop on the other side of the road and she always makes it a point to peek inside just to greet the person at the cashier.

Because why not?

When she pushes the door open, though, the girl at the cashier greets her with a roll of her eyes. Yuna rolls her eyes back and tosses a bag of chips on the counter. "This is what you get for having a summer job, Ye."

"I needed the money." Yerin frowns at her, reaching for the bag and tearing it open.

Yuna snorts, "More like you wanted to keep seeing Park Woojin just because you heard from school that he visits this shop a lot." Yerin's blush cannot be more obvious.

"Anyway!" Yerin clears her throat, stopping to greet the person who has just entered the shop and disappeared in between the tall shelves. "Youngmin's back, right?"

"I hate how you keep avoiding the topic, you'll eventually see him soon enough here, right-"

"Hello."

A male voice suddenly can be heard from behind Yuna, and Yerin ducks under the counter, muttering that she dropped the non-existent plastic bag she was holding. Yuna looks over her shoulder to see a certain Park Woojin who is holding up a thick book. She moves aside so Woojin can go closer to the counter

"Hello, did you just get here?"

Now, Yuna knows Woojin because of Donghyun, so they're mutual friends. Yerin would know him, too, if only she didn't make up stupid excuses and run away every time Donghyun would tell them Woojin's coming with them to wherever they're supposed to go that day.

"Yup. I just passed by to pick this up for a relative." Woojin nods, peeking at them through his dark fringe and places the book down on the counter, his other hand reaching inside his pocket for his wallet.

Yerin, who has popped up now, cheeks flushed and hair strands all over her face, mutters the price underneath her breath as she punches in the book and takes his money, returning his change and handing him a receipt, all without looking at him,

Yerin can't really be more obvious. Woojin leaves the store with a small wave, and Yerin drops her head on the counter, shaking it and moaning about how she's so messed up. Yuna doesn't do much except agree and take another handful of chips before saying that she has to leave the store as well and get back to her apartment.

"I'm coming over later!" Yerin calls to her back, and Yuna holds up an 'okay' sign with her fingers as the door closes behind her.

She has a lot of fun talking about Yerin to Donghyun when she gets back and her head is on his lap. It's only Woojin who's oblivious about Yerin's crush on him and it's just because they have never properly had a conversation before.

"Should I call him over later? Yerin's coming, right?" Donghyun asks, pretending to think thoughtfully, and Yuna laughs, reaching over to clasp his hand.

"You have to call him."
