Its lunch time and Ross and I are spending it with Tina in her class. We were talking absent mindly when Jake and Kate came in "can we join you guys, its no fun without you lot?" Kate asked and we nodded "sure come on in!" Tina said ans they took seats around our we circle,
"so any news for me?" Tina asked and Ross asnwered "my cousin is getting married!" he said and i took the biggest bite of my sandwhich i could get. The others looked confused at me while Ross smirked "and there having a big fancy wedding, a thousand guests, top end DJ, big church and everything!2 he said taunting me as i glared at him,
"explaination needed!" Tina said and Jake and Kate nodded in agreement "considering you have a mouthful i shall explain, she doesnt agree with marriage says its pointless!" Kate chocked on her snadwhich and i raised an eyebrow "how could you not agree with it, its the biggest and most important thing in a persons life!" she said and i shrugged,
"to some people!" i said and she shook her head "im never talking to you again!" she said and i shrugged "less ear ache for me!" i said and we all laughed lighlty at Kate glaring at me "so how long have oyu been against it?" Tina asked and i shrugged,
"since i understood what marriage was i guess, im nto one of those people that will crash a wedding. I will go to weddings if there family but i never want to get married personally!" i said and she nodded "cool!" she said and took some of her pasta,
"how are you okay with this?" Kate asked shocked and Tina smiled "im not bothered, im divorced marriage is the last thing on my mind. Granted getting married again would be nice but its not a priority!" she said and Kate shook her head,
"crazy fuck-ups!" she said and took a bite of her sandwhich. At that point Jake,Kate and my phone all beeped with a text message "creepy!" Ross said as we pulled them out, mine was from Jill "mum!" Kate said and we both nodded,
"we need to talk!" i said aloud and they btoh nodded agreeing "wonder what its about!" Jake said and we all shrugge d"maybe your moving to New York!" Ross said andw e all looked at him "what i dont like living in Alabama okay!"he said and i shook my head "doubt it!" said,
For most of the lunch we were guessing at what it could be they wanted to talk to us about, Ross kept suggesting things like there aliens or were becoming vampires for eating there burger meat. I wasnt to sure but i wasnt worried about it.
When we got home Jill was cooking the dinner while Gordon was putting the lawn-mower away. "hey mum!" Kate said and she smiled "hey kids, give us a minute and we'll chat!" she said and we nodded. We sat in the living room watching TV like we always did,
Gordon and Jill came in and sat beside each otehr on the couch "okay guys, Grandma and Grandpa want to see us tomorrow. Your of school so were seeing them then!" Gordon said and Kate and Jake groaned while i raised an eyebrow,
"cool!" i said with a shrug, Kate and Jake looked at me "no not cool, there not the type of grandparents that pinch your cheeks and give you candy!" Kate said and ir aised an eyebrow, but all grandparents do that!
"there the type of people that expect you to dress in your Sunday best everyday, never swear, go to chruch three times a week, if you have more than one boyfrined a year your a slut, having a mobile phone is a sin, everything is just weird!" Jake said and i nodded slowly,
"okay..." i said and they nodded "also, there against gays and think marriage is the biggest thing ever!" Kate said and i smiled "great!" i said and Jill and Gordon looked ocnfused "why say that about marriage?" Jill asked and i smiled,
"im against marriage, i'll go to other peoples but i just dont want to get married!" i said and she smiled "alright!" she said and i nodded "im going to get on swimmingly with them!" i said and they all nodded,
"they also dont agree with adoption!" Gordon mumbled and i laughed lightly "im gonna love this!" i said and they all smiled "your not scared?" Jake asked and is hook my head "they sound like people that voice there opinions, well so am i!" iu said and they all looked scared,
"okay now clothes, kate you still have that dress to wear, Jake your Tux is still okay from the wedding we went to, Gordon honey you might have put on weight since you last wore yours, Jo are you wearing a Tux or a dress?" Jill asked and i smiled,
"Tux please!" i said and she smiled "right you and Gordon go get fitted!" she said and i nodded. I left with Gordon to go to the tailers. We got there about half an hour later and we were outside a large white building with a black sign saying 'Italio Tailorea'.
We got in and we were greated by a plaum,p old man wearing, smart black trousers, a pink shirt and a grey wasicoat. He had a lilac tie on and a grey beard and hair. He had a tape measure round his neck and glasses on his forehead.
"ah Gordon, how long has it been?" he asked in a rich Italian voice "Marco, to long heres my daughter Jo!" he said and i couldnt help the smile on my face "ah Jo how very nice to meet you!2 he said shaking my hand,
"hey we need two Tux's for tomorrow!" Gordon said and he nodded "follow me!" he said and we went into the back where there was a million and one suits and Tux's of all colours and sizes. Gordon was up first and he was quickly measured and Marco brought out a black Tux,
He had black pants,a red waistcoat and tie with a black over jacket with a red hankie. He got some black polished dress shoes to go with t and he looked very smart "what do you think?" he asked me and i nodded,
"smart!" i said and he nodded "i'll take it!" he said to Marco who nodded "come on little one your up!" i stood up on the podeom Gordon was just on and spread my arms and legs out so Marco could measure me,
"colour?" he asked and i thought about it "grey!" i said and he nodded. He came back with grey pants and a lilac coloured waistcoat with matching tie and hankie. He gave me a white shirt and a grey jacket with mens dress shoes. Once i had everything on i turned to Gordon who was smiling at me,
"good?" i asked and he nodded "perfect, let me take a picture and send it to mum!" he said and i nodded. He took a picture on my phone and sent it to Jill and i sent one to Tina aswell. Jill said it was perfect and i looked very smart Tina was yet to reply,
We paid for the Tux's and drove home and i got a reply from Tina 'wow!' she said and i smiled 'i know right!' i sent back 'whats the ocassion?' she asked 'meeting grandparents who are very poshyy-totie' 'really and oyur wearing a Tux, again wow' 'well im not wearing a dress!' i sent back,
There was no way in hell i'd be wearing a dress, to anything! 'that would have been amazing to see you in a dress!' i couldnt help but smile 'never!' i sent back. We texted for a good while about me wearing a dress to why catapilars have so many legs,
It was a boring night but i didnt get sleep, i was to bus texting Tina about catapilars!
