Chapter 44: Memories

Royalty POV

Ever since I woke up Qua has been acting so weird.. I mean I understand I pissed him off last night but that doesn't give him a right to act weird towards me

I walked in the bedroom and saw Qua sitting on the edge of the bed staring at the wall..

"You good?" I raised my brow

"Is Dream and Zay friends?"

"No.. where'd that come from?" I laughed

"I mean.. I was just wondering" He shrugged

"Hmmm"

I laid across the bed turning on the tv flipping through the club trying to find something interesting

"Dream had the baby..."

"What?"

"She had the baby" He showed me the photo with her, Zay and the baby.. how come I didn't know about it?

"Is she still in the hospital?"

"Yeah Set sent me the address.. you wanna go see her?" He asked

"Of course!" I got up putting on my YRN sweatpants and a black hoodie slipping on my slides

"We gon drop Yaté off with Take before we go"

I nodded and walked out getting Yaté. Once we were all in the car we headed to Takes house then the hospital.. the ride was quite other than the Atlanta traffic. I was still hurt I hadn't heard anything about this and the fact her and Zay are best buddy's now.. it doesn't make sense

Once we got there we got out and headed inside going to the 5th floor. Luckily it wasn't many people up here so we could be in and out. We headed to the nursery and was met by a nurse

"How can I help you?" She smiled

"I'm here to see Dream Robinson's baby"

"Name?"

I thought about it for awhile then answered

"Ashley Michael's" I smiled

"Come on" She lead us to a small bed where a beautiful baby girl was. "You have five minutes"

I nodded and she left. I picked her up reading her name

"Yazmine.. she's so beautiful" I smiled holding her

"I wonder how long her and Zay been fooling around"

"I don't know" I smiled holding Yaz little hand

She had every bit of my dad's features and I absolutely hated that! I mean she's adorable but it brings back memories of that night.. the last night I saw my dad and the night he raped his own daughter..

"She looks just like him.."

"And that just makes the situation worst" He sighed

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"She's just a constant reminder of what happened that night and that's the last thing I want"

I nodded and laid her back down as her eyes fluttered open.. She had CJ's eyes.. I quickly walked out with Qua trailing behind.

Once I made it outside to the car I immediately broke down. Qua was right.. having her around was just going to remind me of what happened

"It's okay.. I got you" Qua wrapped his arms around me

Quavious POV

I laid with Royalty while she played with my chains. I knew her being around the baby wasn't going to be good for her but she needed to see that on her own.. I just wish all of this would have never happen!

I looked at my watch and it was going on 2:30 I figured Yaté was straight since Take ain't called.. maybe he could keep him just until tomorrow

"Baby imma head to the studio then imma come back wit dinner.. that sounds good?" I looked down at her

"Yeah.." She nodded sitting up

"Call me if you need anything" I pecked her lips a few times before getting up putting on my shoes

"I love you" She smiled a little

"I love you too" I kissed her head and left out

I really needed to clear my head and the best way for me to do that was to hit up the studio.. I didn't want to leave Royal alone but the more I thought about what happened the more I really wanted to go out and find that nigga CJ but I can't leave Royalty to raise Yaté by herself.. mama ain't raise me that way

But I had to do something and soon!

Zay POV

I walked back in Dream's I just had to tell her who was here! I know you're wondering why I'm hanging out with her but we've known each other since we were baby's I just never mentioned to anybody

"What's wrong with you?"

"Royalty and Qua was just here!"

"Oh really?" She smirked. "I'm assuming she saw her sister"

"Duhh!"

"Hmmm.. well Uncle CJ will be thrilled to know that"

"Where's his crazy ass been anyway?" I asked

"Waiting for my word to make his move"

"Hmmm"

"I mean once he gets rid of Royalty you'll get your wish" She smiled

"Which is?"

"Too have Qua all to yourself"

I smiled at that idea.. I was actually down with it especially if that meant making Quavious Keyate Marshall mine!

"Baby sis... You're so bad" I smiled

Zay and Dream are sisters!!!! Wow! Anyway give me them thoughts! And last night I watched the video of Qua getting into a  confrontation with a girl.. do y'all think he would put his hands on a woman like that now that he's older??? I think he would but who knows.. let me know what y'all think!
