Chapter 48: My Life

Royalty POV

I squinted my eyes at the bright light that was shining down on me.. once my eye sight adjusted I looked around and noticed I was in the hospital. I looked over and saw Qua sleeping peacefully.. he always looked so cute when he was sleeping

"Qua?"

He sat up rubbing his eyes looking at me with a small smile on his face

"Your up" He got up walking over to me. "How you feel baby?"

"Sore.. what happened?"

"After you went to Savannah Dream got to you and CJ pushed you down the stairs"

Everything started to slowly come back then I thought about Yaté

"Where's Yaté?" I started to panic

"Whoa.. he's fine. He's in the other room with Set" He calmed me down

"Where's Dream? I'm sure she's still out there"

"She's dead.. Zay and CJ got away" He sighed

I was glad Dream was dead but CJ was still on the loose and I was beyond scared! I just know he won't stop till I'm dead and there's no telling what Zay's crazy ass got in mind! I laid back and pretty soon everybody came in.. I was happy to see them but sometimes it sucked that my actual family wasn't shit

After awhile everyone started to leave since visiting hours were up. I played with Yaté while he sat in my lap... I was more than happy that my baby boy was okay

"You know since Dream is gone we can finally focus on our family" Qua laid next to me

"But CJ is still out there" I sighed

"Don't worry about that.. Imma make sure that bright ass nigga won't get to you"

I laughed a little. "You stupid"

"What? He is bright as hell.. nigga look like a yellow highlighter"

I laughed even harder making him laugh.. I had real tears coming out my eyes

"You really need to stop"

"I'm jus saying" He shrugged still laughing

After our roast session I rocked Yaté to sleep before laying next to Qua. I really didn't want to be any place else but his arms being with Qua just made me feel so safe and loved.. he may have messed up in the past but I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world

"Whatchu thinkin bout?" He asked rubbing my back

"You... How much I love you"

"Corny much" he joked

"I'm being serious..  I really love you Qua... I mean I really don't want nobody else but you"

"Ion want nobody else but you too"

I pecked his lips a couple of times before laying my head back on his chest

Quavious POV

I looked down at Royalty while she watched Yaté sleep.. I didn't think she loved me on that level I mean I knew she loved a nigga but damn.. I understand now why mama said keep her no matter what

"Get sum sleep baby" I kissed her head holding her closer to me

"I am, but first you have to promise me something" She looked up at me

"What's that?"

"Promise me no matter what you'll never leave me or hurt me again.."

I sighed. "Baby... I can't make that type of promise"

And I was being honest.. I was a young rich nigga and wit the life I lived anything was bound to happen

"Why's that?"

"You know why.. I can try, but I can't promise you anything"

"Hmmm..." She nodded

I know that's not the answer she wanted to hear but I was telling her the truth!
