Goodbye's

"Hello?" I asked

"Artemis?-How would you feel about coming down here earlier?" Mother asked

"That would be amazing, how early?" I asked

"Um...Tonight?" she said sheepishly

"....Okay, I'll tell Emily and Sam...I've been staying with them the last couple of days." I said

"How's Bella doing?" she asked

"Better, she's hanging out with Jacob and Quil. How's Phil?" I asked

"He's so excited for you to come on the road with us." she said

"Is that Artemis?-Hey Artemis!! You ready to come play ball?!" Phil shouted

"Yeah, that's sounds amazing...I'll talk to you two later," I said, smiling a little

"Bye Sweetie, see you soon!" Mother said

She hung up, I ran over to where Bella, Jacob and Quil were with Angela and the others.

"What do you want?" Mike glared

I ignored him and went up to Bella.

"I'm getting an Earlier Flight, thought you should know. I'll tell Charlie bye, and if something happens you can always call. Okay?" I said

"Okay, bye" she said

She gave me an awkward hug, I then ran back over to the others. I told them what mom said, Rachel tackled me into the sound. Begging me to stay, but I told her I couldn't. We went back to the house, they all decided they would come with me to the Airport tonight. Rachel came home with me to help me pack.

I had already said my goodbye to everyone but, the guys and three girls. I was getting ready to go, Rachel wouldn't let me go though. Embry had to pull her off, Paul had to help him.

"You can call if something happens, or whenever." I told Rachel

"Come back soon, okay? This isn't goodbye forever, right?" she said

"I'll come visit, I promise." I said

She huffed, I gave the others goodbye. My bags were already loaded on the plane, I walked to the steps and I turned to wave goodbye one last time. My eyes met with Paul's and I seemed to have frozen for a minute. His body went stiff,

"NO FRICKIN' WAY!" Jared yelled

I shook my head and got on the plane. I got in my window seat, I watched as Paul kicked his truck, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I grabbed my chest, why was I sad? Why did I feel guilt. I shook my head and put in my earbuds.

~Another Time Skip, brought by imprinting~

I was feeling so much better! It's been a couple months, I talked to Rachel and Paul over the phone. They all skyped me, which was funny. Jacob was with them, he had a conflicted look on his face.

"You should come visit soon," said Jacob

"I've only been gone a couple months-" I started

"It feels like a Couple Years!" Rachel complained

Paul narrowed his eyes, I turned. He was glaring at a boy behind me. I shook my head, and turned back to the computer.

"I'll talk to Rene and Phil about it." I shrugged

"What is that on your stomach?" Emily asked

"...Nothing," I said

I tilted the screen up a bit, and smiled innocently.

"Artemis." said Sam

"What?-Hey. You're not my Dad." I said

"We can go get him." said Jacob

"...Fine, just don't tell him." I sighed, as I stood up

"You got a bellybutton piercing!!" Rachel yelled

I sat back down and moved my hair from my ears and stuck out my tongue.

"No!" Emily yelled

She covered the screen and I laugh,

"I put my tongue back in Emily," I said

"Did it hurt? How bad?" Jared asked

"It was okay, I can't sleep on my stomach or side for another three-four months though. That hurts, a lot." I said

"You getting anymore?" Embry asked

"Planning on it," I shrugged

"I do not agree with this." huffed Emily

"What have you been doing down there? Billy told me to ask you, when I told him you were looking way better. What have you been eating, drinking?" said Jacob

"Phil got me a new bat, since I lost the first one he gave me. He's been helping me bat, I kind of...uh...ah..." I muttered

"Just tell them!" Rene said

She appeared behind me, and wrapped her arms around my shoulders and leaned over me a bit so they could see her.

"Do I have to? I mean, I'm perfectly fine!" I whined

"He's also teaching her self-defense, some of the other guys are helping her out too. It's so funny! She's barely ever alone anymore." said Rene

"What happened??!" Kim asked worried

"...I almost got Raped." I sighed

"YOU WHAT?!!!" they all yelled

Paul was shaking so bad,

"Paul! Outside!" Sam ordered

Jared pulled him away from the screen and my guess, outside. I rose an eyebrow,

"He'll be okay, what happened?" Emily asked

"I went on a walk, at night alone. Which was stupid, a red head saved me though. She punched the guy out cold." I said

"What was the first thing you thought?-Or word you screamed?" Kim asked

"...Was that boy's name Paul?" Rene asked, with a smirk

"Yeah, what of it?" Embry asked

I stiffened and turned, quickly covering Rene's mouth.

"No mom! No! Go away!-Dad!!" I yelled

Phil came running, a big grin on his face.

"Yeah?" he grinned

"Can you take Mom away please!" I groaned

He chuckled and took her away, with her pouting. I relaxed and turned back to the screen to see everyone grinning.

"What?-I screamed for Help! And my first thought was, I was going to die." I said

"Uh-Huh, sure!~" smirked Embry

"I'm serious!-Anyways, I've gotta get going. I'll talk to you guys later," I said

"Don't you want to say bye to Paul?~" said Kim

"Tell him to call me," I said

I hung up on them, and went over to where Mom and Phil were.
