Decisions

I woke up to the smell of food, I threw the blankets off and ran to the kitchen. Emmett laughed,

"You were right! She would run out in her pajamas!" he laughed

I looked down, and shrugged. I was wearing short shorts and a loose tank top. I went to steal some food, but Rosalie picked me up, sat me in the dining room chair and then went back to cooking with Esme.

Once they were done, I ate. Carlisle had gotten a call, then he handed me the phone. I swallowed my food.

"Hello?" I asked

"You should call Jacob, and the other mu-people. They're worried." said Edward

"Oh yeah, Alice broke my phone. I will, I should probably go see them too...I'll do all that tomorrow, cause if I go now. I won't ever be able to leave-if you see Jacob or any of them, I'm not here. Or they will come for me," I said

"Okay, I'll tell Bella to keep quiet." he said

I hung up on him and tossed Carlisle his phone back, a cup filled with red liquid was placed in front of me.

"It's deer, not human." said Esme

I nodded and drank it. I licked my lips and relaxed, this sucks. I closed my eyes and leaned back.

"Hey Carlisle...do you know how long I'll live for?" I asked

Nobody said anything,

"I am not sure of that, your...body, is strange. It can't survive without both blood and human food." said Carlisle

"Hm, another question. What was Edward about to say before he cut himself off?" I asked

Everyone just shrugged, I did too.

"I'll get it out of Bella, she'd probably ask him until he told her...and Carlisle, whatever Bella say's. Don't tell her anything about me, okay?" I stretched

I watched Football with Emmett, later that day Bella was holding a Decision thing for her to get turned. Everyone but Rosalie said yes, I squeezed her hand. Before she left, I'm not fully a Vampire, I'm only 2/3...I can't survive on either or, I have to do both if I want to survive. Bella came up and grabbed my hands,

"You okay?...And are you seriously going to go through with this? Didn't you like one of the guys on the Reservation when we were little?" she asked

"Ha. Funny, I liked to torment them. Besides who would like a girl like me Bells?" I smirked

A monster...a freak.

"Artemis..." said Edward

"I really need to figure out how to Block you." I sighed

"What did she think?" Bella asked

"Shut up Edwardo." I said

"Artemis." said Bella

"You should head home to Charlie," I said

"You're not gonna come?" she asked

"I'm having a hard time being near you without wanting to sink my teeth into you, I don't think I could be near the both of you." I lied

She sighed but nodded, Edward gave me a look that meant 'we were gonna talk later'. They left, and I sighed with relief.

"Why did you lie to her?" Esme asked

I didn't say anything,

"She's made her Decision, I made mine." I said

"She thinks you're going to become a full-Vampire..." said Carlisle

"Think? We're not turning her too?" asked Emmett

"She doesn't remember that I'm even 2/3 Vamp." I said

"We can't full change her, she already has Jame's Venom in her. If we add a different Venom, I don't know what would happen to her, if it will still work...or she will be in a lot of pain, and end up dying." said Carlisle

"You're stuck like that..." said Jasper

"Pretty much...now, let's just see how long I can go on like this." I said

I moved away from the wall and went up to the room I stayed in. I laid down on the bed, as I sighed. How long can I do this for? Fighting against the urge to sink my teeth into people...having their blood. And the distance from how long I can last on Animal blood is shortening...I hugged the pillow tightly.
