"Mackenzie! Someone is here for you!" My moms voice bellows through our empty hallways.
Weird. Strange. Coincidence?
"Okay! I'm coming!" I ran as fast as my short legs could go.
I notice Maddie giving me a wink as I pass by the living room. I took a right, almost slipping on the marble flooring with my socks.
"Woah, careful Kenz." I know that voice.
Sure enough, Johnny and and Lauren were standing at my doorway, a huge grin across their faces.
"LAUREN!" I squeal and jump into her arms.
"Wow, so much love." The beautiful green eyes boy sarcastically said next to me.
I gave him a grin, still holding onto Lauren.
"I miss you so much!" I finally let go of Lauren and reach for the box of chocolates. "Oh and you too Johnny." I smirk.
"Shut up!" He grabs me by the waist, carrying me to the living room, where Maddie carefully eyed us.
"Happy early anniversary!" And then he through me onto of Maddie.
