Chapter 4: The quarry.

I was playing with my ring that my parents gave me

for my birthday because I was nervous and I was thinking about Richie.

While we were walking up the stairs
I dropped it and it fell through the steps.
Fuck
"Bev, I dropped my ring I'll get it really quick and meet you there, Okay?" I say
"Okay." She replies.
I run down the stairs and look for it in the grass.
I find it and go up the stairs and open the door.
I totally forgot about the scene where her creepy dad makes her uncomfortable.
I see him push Beverly's head to pass through.
I glare at him and walk past
But he grabs my hand.
Pulls me disgustingly close and whispers.
"Don't interfere, it's none of your business since you're not family."
And then he lets go.
I'm so furious and frustrated that I almost cry.
I run to Beverly's room but she's not there.
The bathroom.
I knock on the door.
"Bev?" I ask.
"Y-yes?" She whispers in a crying muffled voice.
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you alone." I apologize.
"It's not your fault." She says louder.
She opens the door tears dripping down her face
and her hair cut short.
I hug her really tight and wipe her tears.
I smile at her and whisper
"Your hair is so uneven."
She bursts out laughing.
"Let me fix it!" I say.
She's replies "fine!"

After I fix her hair she stares at herself in the mirror for a long time.
"You're beautiful." I say.
She turns around and hugs me "thank you."
"You're welcome!" I bow.

After that we go to bed and Bev wakes me up early in the morning.
"It's too earlyyy." I groan
She laughs and says "Let's go to the quarry."
"Whaaat!" I say jumping up and finally awake.
Richie.
"Richie will be there~" she teases me.
I blush.
