The California sun pounded down on the group as they stood in the old sand of the diamond. Wendy wrapped her arm around the brunette beside her as she held the newborn baby. The two watched their husbands and friends as they worked.
"Are you ready?" Benny called out and they nodded and watched as the boys all started to count to three. Suddenly the fence that was once up to separate the group from the beast and Mr. Myrtles backyard was crashing to the ground. The whole thing this time.
Everyone cheered and Wendy picked up Andrew and held Bella's hand as she followed Amelia and her son Arlo over to the boys. It was only another beginning for the rag tag group and much work was ahead of them to turn this into a home but little did anyone know. It already was home.
"Are you ready?" Benny asked Amelia and she looked at him confused.
"Ready for what?" Benny shrugged and looked to the now opened field.
