Hermione Granger
"I tried calling you, Granger, but it seems like you were trying to escape someone?" I finally tore my eyes away from his enchanting ones, they trailed to my wrist which was still restrained with his large hand.
"Yes. Malfoy." I struggled to escape his grasp but once I had, I ripped my arm from his own and marched past the bookstore and into the deserted streets. Not even a second later I rolled my eyes as I heard footsteps approaching, whipping around I once again placed my wand to his throat.
"Look. I do not get what you're playing at Malfoy, but listen to me very carefully when I say I want no place in it." The anger was evident in my voice and if he was too daft to realise it, his had no hope.
With my wand to his throat, he inched closer. Obviously not concerned that I could injure him at any moment, I mentally scolded myself once I felt my back hit the harsh pavement behind me. I was once again cornered with no way out.
"Oh Granger, you say you want no part in my game but you keep letting me corner you into walls, you keep letting me trail my hand up and down your arm and you don't even seem to pull away when I do." Snapping back into reality, I felt the cool touch of his fingers caressing my forearm and his lips brushing against my ear. I wanted nothing more than to desperately pull away but my mind had no control over my immobile body.
"You know you want this, I can feel the way your body responds to me. The way your breathing accelerates every time I touch you" I felt his lips no longer brushing my ear but now on my neck, leaving wet trails with his tongue.
I hadn't noticed I dropped my novel on the wet cement until I tried to bring Malfoys face away from my neck, my actions proved useless as it only made him clash his lips against my own.
I was taken back in surprise but for some reason, I let my body do what it wanted. I felt him mould his lips onto mine, his hand trailing to my thigh where he slowly lifted it. With one of my legs in his palm and the other on the floor, he spread my legs and made room for himself to stand in-between them.
His other hand broke my elastic band which held my hair together and my messy locks flowed past my shoulders. I gasped as I felt him pull on my hair slightly, taking the opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth. I took in the foreign taste of spearmint mixed with firewhisky, oh gosh, I was so doomed.
I couldn't help but let a small moan slip past my lips, this only encouraged him further. I felt him bring his hips to ever so slight buck at my own, the feeling of it once again made me release an involuntary groan. He pried his now swollen lips away from my own and back down to my neck, planting breathless kisses down the side of it.
The distant chiming of Flourish and Botts made me snap back into reality, panicking that we would be seen I pushed Malfoy off me and quickly bent down to pick up my book. I took in his confused face, his heavy breathing and tousled hair.
"Look, I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression but this can't happen. It's wrong, it should never have happened in the first place." I struggled to get the sentence out, my breathing only increasing and the thoughts of what just happened.
"It's wrong? Okay, Granger, but when has anything when it's come to us ever been right?" His tone had an underlying hint of irritation to it and it made me comprehend that I probably wasn't willing to push his buttons. Before I could answer, he continued.
"But that's the thing, isn't it? You want something that isn't right, you don't want Weaslebee, he is boring and you know it. Admit it, he has never kissed you the way I just did, has he ever done anything other than shove his face full of food? I can make you feel things that pretty little mind of yours could never imagine, you don't want right, you want excitement, danger and passion." How could I tell him everything he just said is right? But not with him, anyone else but him...
"Okay! Yes! I want a love that excites me and makes my heart pound! I want a love so real it's scary, I want passion and I want thrill! All I've ever read about love is everything I'll ever want! You're right but how on earth could you ever think I would want a death eater like you?" By the end of my miniscule rant, I was grasping the air for breath, the tension between us could have been cut with even the bluntest of scissors.
I instantly regretted my words as soon as I saw his face, I knew he wouldn't be happy about my rejection, but I wouldn't have ever expected the look he just gave me.
"Well, if that's how you feel then fine. Go live your boring life and never fucking look at me again. You do realise I never wanted to kiss you, you practically forced yourself on me. Now I have your putrid taste in my mouth, get out of here you filthy mudblood." I could almost see the venom spit from his mouth, I opened my mouth to apologise but he was gone before I could.
I wiped the warm tear from my wet cheek and looked around, it had now begun to pour with rain and not a soul was in site.
