Just a Memory

Do you remember me?
It's been awhile, how are you?
Oh I see.
I'm forgotten, is it really true?

You never left my mind.
You were my only friend.
You were always so kind.
When you left my mind came to a dead end.

Here are the reasons why you mean so much.

Number one.
You always wiped away my tears.
You were my shining sun.
As you burned away all my fears.

Number two.
No matter what you always stuck by my side.
You always said that I mattered too.
You pushed all those dark thoughts aside.

Number three.
You were the only one that could make me laugh.
You set me free.
You were my better half.

What? That was all in the past?
Please don't do this to me.
Please don't treat me like an outcast.
