"Oh, it's nice to see you again Mister Yoo." Seokjin greets the young man, a glass of wine in his left hand as he shakes hands using the other. They crossed paths in the middle of the function hall, at the after party of Seokjin's fifteenth novel release.

The ash haired male smiles at the novelist, and for a second Seokjin wondered where the innocent looking teen that he had met two years ago had gone. He took a deep breath and kept his smile as Taeyang responds.

"It really has been a while, Mister Kim."

A few days after Namjoon had disappeared from Seokjin's life, the novelist was very confused. He was sure that whatever drug he was supposed to be on (as Woojin joked to him about) was hard. Because the supposed three months trance he was in was so, so realistic. Because for the first time, for the first time in years, Seokjin felt like he was not burdened, he felt different, he felt... like he was not alone.

Ironically enough, for a novelist who was supposed to have best selling works, he can't put the emotions that he had felt into words, he can only laugh to himself, that's probably Namjoon's effect on anyone.

For two months, ever since Namjoon disappeared, it was like Taehyung left him all over again, only this time, it was much heavier.  He wasn't able to think straight for days. However, Woojin had persuaded him to get out of his loathing state, he kept insisting that Namjoon was just a... fictional character. Seokjin doesn't want to believe it, for a few weeks, he kept on convincing himself that Namjoon and Woojin was just playing a sick prank on him, or maybe Namjoon had to suddenly go back to his original house, maybe the friend he mentions sometimes just suddenly needs help and so he forgot to tell Seokjin.

On the fifth month, that's when Seokjin finally dragged himself out of his room, expecting a long ass lecture from Woojin, but the older just gave him a soft smile when he finally came out.

"About time you finally accept the truth."

It was a pretty weird thing to say, like they were talking about a real person, and not just one fictional character that he has seen in more than a hundred pages of his manuscript. Reading that name gave an odd feeling to his stomach. He still doesn't know how to describe it.

A year after, Seokjin had finally finished his novel. At the day of its release, it immediately went sold out on a lot of bookstores, and in just after a few months, he released a sequel, having a sudden surge of inspiration and ideas flood through him.

He admits, he tried to forget about the whole 'Namjoon' ordeal by burying his self in more work and distractions, he thought about going back to the bar run by his friend, but he dismisses the idea, if he wants to forget about Namjoon it's also good to get some job done.
