Reunion: secrets revealed

Ashley: Guys, we should have a reunion in our daycare center. Is September 10 okay?

Sarah: Yea, I agree, I miss all of you we totally should have a reunion. It has been 4 years since I last met you guys.

Alice: I am in!

Michael: Same here!

Ashley's POV

September 10

I am so excited for today's reunion. I finally can see all my friends after so long. What more can I ask for when both my best friends will be there. Sarah and Michael!!! Can talk about high school life.

With that I left home early with my dad.

I reached our day care called, 'Educational Daycare Centre' aka 'EDC'. I reached just in time as the gate just opened.

It was the maid that had the bright smile that welcomed me once again. I missed her too.

The place didn't look much different from 4 years ago. Since it was early, 7.15am, I chose to have a look at a few little kids' comic books.

Until I suddenly heard a deep voice. "Ashley! Heyyyyyyy!"

(Surprised and smiled) "Michael!!! 4 years finally I get to meet you again. Damn, I missed you so badly." I responded in an excited tone.

"Hahaha yea, luckily there's technology. At least I can message you every weekend when I get back from hostel."

We spent our time waiting for others to arrive, talking and chatting about our old memories and how silly we were.

The daycare had changed their uniform for the teachers.

There was a familiar figure walking past us wearing that uniform, but I just ignored cause I know it wasn't my favourite teacher.

It was 8am, Teacher Susan would be here anytime.

I was right.

"TEACHER SUSAN!!!!" I yelled so loud that I caught everyone's attention. <oops>

She was so glad that she yelled at me too. Hahaha. We talked about how our high school life was and how was her working life going on.

"Hey, actually la, do you mind me asking something?" She suddenly asked with a mysterious expression.

"Sure, what is it?"

"You and Michael... Are you guys dating?" She asked in curiosity.

"What? No. Teacher, he's just my best friend. Right Michael?" I told the truth.

"Ahaha, ya. Teacher, don't think too much la. We are just very close friends." He added.

Jack's POV

"TEACHER SUSAN!!!!" I heard a girl shrieked in excitement.

I turned to see who it was... It was...

ASHLEY!

Why is she here? How can she be here? It's not like she's living here or something right? I managed to find a job here to take care of kids. Don't tell me she is also here for a job... Oh no! I don't want to act awkward around here. I am so not prepared for this. Take a deep breath, chill Jack! You gotta chill. (Breathes in deep)

"You and Michael... Are you guys dating?" I overheard Ms. Susan asked them.
