Numb and never saw it

My cousin elly  told me about this friend of hers was having a new years party and invited me to come with her and I agreed. When we got there the house was awesome and beautiful. We played a board game and ate lots of food and talked to many people. At one point in time we decided to play hide and seek outside and let me tell you. It was freezing cold outside. I was wearing boots but my feet and toes got to a point to were i could no longer feel them. They became very numb. So after we played we saw the adults chilling out by a big fire outside and we decided to try and make one ourselves. We sucked. We never made one because the adults saw our struggle and gave us theirs and made another for them. So we went inside not to longer after and i ended up meeting a cousin i had no idea about on my dads side of the family. So it was 2015 and the ball was getting ready to drop and it would be 2016. Well my cousins friend switched the channel by accident and we never saw it drop and we all yelled at him and laughed.
