I paced back and forth in my room for what seemed like forever before finally venturing out and walking out into the hall. It was dark and hot, the heat seemed to eminate from the dark walls.
One thing that I noticed was that the hall was lined with doors and yet I knew, I could tell that there was no one else in the house besides the two demons and myself. So why all of these doors? Where did they go?
I continued down the hall but my footsteps slowed as I began to hear voices. Ciel's specificly; and he was shouting. "You tricked her! You traped her in a false contract!"
I pressed myself against the wall, listening carefully.
"You think she cares about you? Loves you? She doesn't!"
"Shut up!" Sebastian shouted, making my neck burn.
Ciel nearly growled at him, "Its a contract, nothing more! She doesn't love you and she never will!"
I rounded the corner quickly, "Stop it! Stop screaming!" They both looked at me and I took a deep breath, shaking my head, "Please... Just, stop."
My eyes began to water and I wiped my eyes before passing them, going over to a fireplace in the back of the large room. I stared into the flames and shook my head.
