I'm There

Knock Knock
I'm in your bed with you
Knock Knock
I'm in your head with you

I have a name that you may know
More people know me
More than they show
It is me they never seek.

I see you when you're sleeping
I'm there when you're awake
I creep inside your dreams at night
I even affect your thoughts; the things you might say

I am that silent killer
You can't see nor hear nor leave me
The one thing that's for sure
I'm there and only grow more.

You may try to make me disappear
Or pretend that I'm not there
But I'm always there beside you
Whether only not you want me, Beware.

I can see and hear and feel you
But as before, you can't for me
If they hide me away, you'll never know it was they
Whose hearts in which I sleep.

You can laugh and joke
But there's no escape
For I'm here always
Just until they break.

I go by many names
I come in different shapes and forms
So you can't tear me away.

I go by Anxiety, Bothered and Distressed
But more often they decided
To just call me Depressed.
