The City

Taxi melodies everywhere in the morning
Arguing they way in to be heard
By everyone battling their way to work
You can hardly hear yourself think

Long roads to school some have to take
But some just waiting for things to happen
Shouts at 4th street for being late
But it's only "6 a.m,we just in time"
Everyone has to wake up for that dime

Nobody paying attention to another
Just rushing to what puts food on the table
Tall towers just watching waiting to be filled
Papers piling up in black ink
Ready to be delivered to each corner

The streets have never been this busy
This rush hour comes so easy
With the city beauty painted with every face on its walls.
Such beauty.
