I was woken by a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said. A young woman came in with folded clothes in her hands.
"Your majesty, your clothes are ready." She said.
"Your majesty, where is that coming from?" I said a little disoriented.
"You are Princess Gabriella Blackwood." she said. Memories of last night came back to me.
"I thought that was a nightmare." I said getting out of bed.
"Does her majesty need help with getting dressed? The young maid said.
"No thank you I'm fine." I told her. She curtsied then left the room closing the door behind her. I grabbed my clothes which was a pair of blue skinny jeans, tank top with a black leather jacket to go with it and black flats. I took a shower, comb my hair, and headed down stairs. I went into the kitchen where I found my grandparents sitting at the kitchen counter reading the newspaper.
"Good morning." I said going to the counter to fix my plate. I was getting ready to grab it when the cook grabbed it. Well ok.
"Umm Gabriella you know you don't have to do that right." Grandma said.
"I always make my plate there's no big deal." I said. My grandmother grabbed my hand leading me to the table.
"Honey remember your aunt and uncle said your life is going to change since you're a Blackwood...well it starts today." She said.
"What do you mean?" I said sitting down. At that moment the cook brought over my plate I thanked him and digged in. Grandpa sat the newspaper in front of me. Right there on the front page newspaper was a picture of me with the title that read.
Deadwood's New Heiress
Let's take a trip down memory lane. Seventeen years ago Deadwood received the wonderful news of Prince Maximilian becoming a father with his high school sweetheart Nina Amador. Those two were inseparable along with Prince Maximilian brother Prince Michael and Ella Scott. We all knew that King Maxwell and Queen Victoria would be retiring in the future which put Prince Maximilian in line to be king. Tragic struck a week later with the death of Prince Maximilian in a tragic car accident. That night we would soon have learned he was going to propose to Nina Amador. Nina Amador was heartbroken with the tragic death of her love that she never came out of her house. Then tragedy struck again three months later with the death of her mother and her father being blamed. Our sweet lovable girl Nina Amador couldn't take it anymore and left Deadwood with the unborn child and never heard from again. Years went by and we never heard about her or the child until recently. Yesterday was the sixteen birthday of Gabriella Scott the adoptive daughter of Prince Michael and Ella, or so we thought. It was revealed that Gabriella Scott was none other than Prince Michael niece. That's right folks Gabriella Scott is actually Gabriella Blackwood, Prince Maximilian and Nina Amador daughter. Which unfortunately means that Nina Amador is no longer with us. However let's not dwell on the past but focus on the celebration. People of Deadwood we have a princess in town which means she will likely be our next queen. All hail Princess Gabriella Blackwood.

"Are you serious? Everybody found out yesterday and now it's front page news." I said moving the paper away from me.
"News travels fast." Grandpa said shrugging.
"That's not helping, so now what am I supposed to do. Everywhere I go people are going to be staring at me." I said.
"Let's not worry about that now. Your aunt and uncle will be here this afternoon to pick you up." Grandma said.
"I don't feel like being in the same car with them. They kept this secret from me all these years. Now my life is on the front page news. I just wanted to get through highschool without drawing attention to myself but since I'm a princess now I don't have a chance." I said.
