i was kind of nervous but jake held my hand through the car journey we got to this big house what was not what i expected people always made out that they are horrible places but this one was colourful with rainbows and bright colours
jake rang this doorbell and the door opened to a gentle looking woman inviting us in she said for us to take a seat on this black leather couch opposite a reception where she went into , when she came back out she asked what age and gender we were looking for but i said a girl age 1-2
she lead us down a corridor full of rooms with children playing together , they all looked the ages we wanted but this little girl stud out the most than the others. she was leaning against a box with pillows around her to prop her back up and was playing with a teddy with white fur on, she looked all lonley by herself which nearly made me cry . when we were lead into the room i went straight to her , she crawled onto my knees as i was sat down next to her with her big blue eyes conected to mine .

she gave a happy smile what looked like she had never done before,i got up and she was holding on to my leg as if she didn't want me to go and held her arms up indicating she wanted me to carry her .i carried her over to jake and was even more happy. i gave jake the look which ment she was perfect , so we went over to the lady who brought us in and gave us a pack of information about her . as we signed some forms sarah the lady brought her bags down of hers
as jake was finishing of writing i skimmed through the info pack and stopped at the page where it had all i wanted to know

she was in adoption because she was abandoned outside the door here 2 months ago with cuts and bruises , she has trouble communicating with new people and has a weak heart but has appointments at the hospital once a month
we brought lexi out into the car and jake put her in the car seat , i took a photo to put on insta

we arrived home and i drove jake texted our relatives about lexi so my phone kept going of which woke up lex . my boyfriend calmed her down with her teddy but i had just parked outside the house , jake carried the car seat in followed with me , suddenly as i turned around we were crowded by team 10 all focusing on the baby
lex started crying so i picked her up and layed her on the changing mat an did her nappy , i got her a bottle , i rocked her asleep as she drank . arms were rapped around my waist and i knew it was jake he kissed the top of both of our heads . lexi grew a smile as he did it which was one of the cutest things i saw , after she had drank her bottle her dad took her out of my arms and the baby in her cot
but when i went down stairs there was a knock at the door but it was ...........
