Day 2: When We Give
We have been fortunately blessed with the resources we have. It's our duty to give when we can. Scripture tells us that when we give, it will be given to you.
Today's Bible Verse: Genesis 28:22 - And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.
Today's Challenge: Today, we are going to learn about tithing. If you haven't already, put in place a chore system for you children. If not chores, come up with a plan for financially rewarding them for completing some action. But before they are given their money for good deeds, share with them that the Bible tells us that we must give 10% of our earnings to Him. Take 10% of the chore money, and take time during the day to look up organizations with your child. Find an organization that hits home. Find a non-profit organization that helps others that your child would like to give to. Explain to them the importance of giving financially with the resources we have been given.
