The atmosphere around the residence was much lighter than before.
Richard and Carrin, though not completely comfortable with each other, had atleast silently negotiated to try acting like everything was normal.
They made the necessary talk and went about their own duties like before.
Carrin was a little pleased, if not completely satisfied, that he wasn't being ignored by his master (or the man who occupied his heart) anymore.
Whereas Richard was giving his all into not keeping his eyes on the other young man in the room and the next moment, feeling scared why he was even doing that in the first place.
