She woke up to sound of doorbell. She reached for her phone to check the time. Ya salam, It's 1:40pm and Ni'imah and ibty are coming over today, it might even be one of them. Ya Allah!
She went to the living and checked through the window. She saw ibty sitting on her luggage typing or doing something with her phone. She opened the door and cleared her throat to get her attention but she's deep in thoughts.
"Allah Allah, Ibty!"
"Hafsatu!" She squealed, hugging Layla tightly.
"I've been here for the past 10 minutes waiting for you to open the door!" She added
"I'm sorry I was sleeping, I didn't get to sleep till after fajr"
They entered the apartment and then straight to the room to keep Ibty's luggage.
"So, how is Muhammad?" She asked from the room.
"He's fine, I guess"
"Any progress?" She asked as she enters the living area.
"I dunno, I mean we talk now" She said going to the kitchen.
She kept asking her about him and that she can't wait for their wedding! Imagine.
She excused herself going to take her shower. She took a quick but lovely shower and came out.
She dressed up in a casual grey yoga pants and a pink shirt. She sprayed her perfume and packed her hair in a messy bun before coming out to the living area. She saw Ibty in the kitchen cooking something, something nice!
"Watcha cooking?" Layla asked.
"Don't know yet." She replied not even looking at her
Layla peeped into the pot to see what she's cooking. But by the smell of the food it is really nice. She cooked jollof basmati rice with a chilled lemonade.

She sent Layla out of the kitchen that She's disturbing and distracting her. She was just blabbing her nonsense so Layla just quietly left to the living room. She picked her phone and logged into her snapchat. She saw messages from Norah.
Norah🎀- hey sister
Layloo- hey there!
Not even up to one minute I saw her reply
Norah🎀- guess what
Layloo- what?
Norah🎀- your fiancé came and he brought a phone case, cold stone and dominos for me!💃🏻
Layloo- really? What was he doing there?
Norah🎀- he came to greet mammy and daddy. He was being a good son in law

"When is Ni'imah coming?" Ibty asked coming to the living room munching an apple.
"I don't know, maybe we should call her and see what's wrong" Layla replied.
She went to the kitchen to drink water when She heard her ringtone. She quickly picked a bottle of water and ran to the living room to pick up the call. She saw the caller ID. It is Him. Muhammad. She didn't hesitate to pickup
"Hey there Muhammadu"
"Hey Hafsatu." He replied
"How are you doing" She asked.
"I'm fine alhamdulillah and you?" He asked
"I am fine too"
"So, how far?" He asked
She was about to answer when ibty came to the living area.
"Layla have you....." She started but stopped when she saw her on the phone
"Muhammad?" Layla called.
"Yes, Layla"
She loves the way he says her name. "Can we talk later? I am a little bit occupied at the moment" She said.
"Sure, bye" He said
"Bye" She said then hung up.
Layla turned to ibty with a questioning look. "Ne?What?
"Oh, I wanted to ask if kin Kira Ni'imah, but forget it I've called her and she said she's at the Piccadilly station." She said.
"Oh okay tohm." Layla said, popping a grape into her mouth.
Ibty and Layla got bored so they decided to watch a movie. Ibty insisted that they watch descendants 2 which Layla agreed to it.
They were half way through when the doorbell rang. It has to be Ni'imah.
They thought.
Layla stood up to go and open the door. Immediately She opened her mouth went ajar from screaming.........
