Prologue :
How could I know that? I hated Jason, so he was not the one who told me about it. However, my mother knew Penelope Blossom in high school and since then they have never lost touch. My father, who is a banker, has advised Clifford many times about his maple syrup business. It was only natural that Cheryl and I have been friends since our earliest childhood. In fact, apart from her, I did not talk to many people, except perhaps Archie Andrews-he was so nice, how not to appreciate it? -and Kevin Keller because it made me laugh to comment on every fact and everyone's gesture.
Being friends with Cheryl was not easy every day: she could be capricious, haughty and selfish.
