I was just looking through some comments on my smuts, and I noticed that quite a lot of my readers are under the legal age in my country (16).
The only reason as to why this worries me is because while I am a big believer of "you do you", young teenagers and even children accessing the kind of stuff that I write really isn't ok, like, writing this sort of stuff has warped me as a person, and I am just shy of 18 years old.
I can't even begin to imagine the effect of reading this sorta stuff on someone aged 9-15, but it has had a significant impact on my life, and it wasn't a good one... I don't want to take down my writing, as I reiterate- "you do you", but knowing that I am enabling people who don't necessarily have the life experience to know how damaging this sort of stuff is when used improperly makes me feel really guilty and really awful as a person in general, but I don't blame anyone but myself for this happening.
