I sat on the couch shaking my legs anxiously. Jake should be here in a few minutes. What should I say to him? I can't just come out and say that Jason kissed me. I cheated on him. Well not really cause I didn't kiss back. Are we even in a relationship? Dear God help me.

I glanced at my phone and checked the time, just to see that I got a message, a few minutes ago from Jake.

Jae😍: bouta be there in a few jess.

I smiled and bit my lip. I read the message one more time and put my phone away. If Jake sent this text a few minutes ago that means he should be here any second. As I was about to get up to go the kitchen the door bell rang. I quickly hopped up and ran to the door, tripping in the process. I looked in the small mirror behind the door and fixed my hair up. I pursued my lips and winked at my reflection before opening the door.

"Hi Jake" I waved with a slight giggle. He smirked with a chuckle and gave me a little wave back.

"Hey jessy."

I rocked on my heels with my hands on my hips. "So you wanna come in?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Isn't that what hosts should already know?... For their guests to come in? That's the whole point of the visit." Jake reasoned using hand gestures.

"Well then-" I stepped aside and pointed inside the house. "Come in."

Jake walked briskly past me, went inside and took a look around. "Nice you got here."
I smiled and closed the door. "Thanks."

I heard him mumble something along the lines. "To think you'd live somewhere in a city dumb," but I just gritted my teeth and choose to ignore it.

"So what is it?" He plopped right down in the couch.

"Wow you must be tired, take a seat" I said sarcastically. He just rolled his eyes with a slight smirk at my comment.

"Anyway I called you here to talk to you about Jason." I sat directly beside him, maybe a little too close for comfort.

"Jason?" He repeated.

I nodded. "And maybe a little about us."

"Us?" He quirked an eyebrow.

I snapped my head in his direction and nodding yet again. "Yes, us."

I felt him shift on the couch so that his body was facing me. "So, what first?"

Ahhh what to choose. 'US' first or 'JASON' first? I think I'll go with the easiest one first. "Um, how about, Jason, first?"

Jake stared at me curiously. "It was your choice so... Yeah Jason first."

I nodded and crosses my legs. "Okay ah, you remember when Caroline texted me at the ice-cream parlour right?"

"Yeah....?" He replied hesitantly.

I took his reply as a gesture to continue. "Well she wanted to tell me something and called me over so we could, you know, talk. We talked about something I really should talk to you about but that can wait. When I was leaving I felt lips being pressed against mine which turned out to be Jason's but I didn't kiss back. He then went on telling me that he's always loved me and not Kelsey which I find hard to believe. I would've considered this cheating on you but I don't know what we are, so now is a good time to talk about 'US'."

Jake was staring right into my soul with his mouth agape. "Uh, can we talk about this somewhere else?" He suggested.

"Why?"

"Because I don't think here is the right place to talk about this." He said softly.

I fiddled with my fingers for a few seconds then nodded. "Alright, where do you suggest?"

Jake bit his bottom lip and looked down. I watched closely at the hot but small action shown by him. I watched how his lip slowly bent to rest under his teeth and how he leisurely looked down. All small actions but all hot. Then he finally replied saying, "Maybe at 'Sam's ice-cream's parlour."

It was now my turn to bite my lip and I let out a quite girly say giggle. "Do you have a thing with ice-cream or something."

He smirked and slowly stood up. "Well I guess you could say that... Since the time you came with me."

I couldn't help but blush.

*****38 minutes later*****

"My anaconda don't want none unless you for buns hun" I sang twerking in my seat.

Jake was typing away on his phone while waiting on our ice-creams. I shrugged and continued singing. "This dude named Michael use to ride motorcycles. D*ck bigger than a tower, I ain't talking bout Eiffel's. Real country-ass nigga, let me play with his rifle. P*ssy put his ass to sleep, now he calling me NyQuil."

Jake sighed and ran his fingers through his black hair. "Jessy...can you like kinda keep it down a little bit?"

I smiled as the waiter was coming with our order. "Sure Jake, that shouldn't be a problem."

I took a scoop of the ice-cream and smirked. "Now that bang, bang, bang. I let him hit it cause he slang cocaine. He toss my salad like his name romaine. And when he done I let him buy me Balmain. I'm on some dumb sh*t. By the way, what he say? He can tell I ain't missing no meals. Come through and f*ck him in my automobile. Let him eat it with his grills and he telling me chill. And he telling me it's real, that he loves my sex appeal. Say he don't like them boney. He want something he can grab. So I pulled up in the jag. May weather with the jab like Dun-d-d-dun-dun-d-d-dun-dun."

Jake slammed a fist on the table and looked dead at me. "Jess really?"

I laughed a real knee slapping laugh. "What I love me some Nicki Minaj. Besides Anaconda was one of my favourite songs."

Jake narrowed his eyes into slits then smirked. "OK fine."

Just as I was about sing I heard this amazing voice. I looked around trying to find the person this angelic voice belongs to, but it didn't occur to be that it belonged to Jake. I smiled softly and tuned into it. "Don't the stars light the sky? Like you need to light my life. If you need me anytime, you know I'm always right by your side. See I've never felt this love, you're the only thing that's on my mind. You don't understand how much you really mean to me. I need you in my life your my necessity, yeah. But believe me that you're everything that makes my world complete. And my love is clear the only thing that'll ever see. You're all I'll ever need. Baby you're amazing. Just as Jake finished he stared right at me. "Jessy, will you save me?"
