"You have no where to go to." he grinned evilly as he twirled the dagger between his fingers. It was their end. Rachel and Conner were trapped. Their eyes filled with fear as the man neared them. Rachel was pale as snow, shivering, grasping her lover's hand tightly. Conner tried to maintain his calm demeanor it was evident it was not going to last for long.

"Hmm." the man rubbed his chin. "This is a hard one." he thought aloud. Rachel held Conner's hand tighter, in fear.He couldn't help but wince due to the pain. The man's eyes glinted evilly as he came up close and placed the tip of the dagger on Conner's throat. He whimpered.

"You're scared." the man scoffed. "Let me end it for you..."

Within a blink of an eye, it was over for Conner. The man had made one swift move ending Conner's life. The man had slit his throat, right above his Adam's apple. The walls, Rachel and the man were covered in blood. Rachel let out a scream.

The man loved every second of it. However Rachel was a different story. Her love of her life was gone. She was hollow once more. Pain. That's all she felt. Pain.

The man took the now covered in blood blade. "One down one to go." he said satisfied with his work. He turned his attention to her. Now it was her turn to meet the same fate as the man who he just killed.

Pain turned into rage. She was murderous. She had lost the one thing she could call her's. The only thing she was bent on to do now was to avenge his death. Revenge must be taken. And eye for an eye.

She sat down on the floor. Tears streamed down her grime covered face. He twirled the dagger in his hand once again as he neared his target. The man did not expect the next move. Rachel had extended her leg, kicking him in the gut. The air from his lungs were expelled due to the blow leaving breathless and in pain. He wailed, dropping his blood covered weapon in front of the other.

She swiftly moved to the dagger and in one quick move the job was done. His eyes were wide open, losing it's life slowly. His mouth hung open, in astonishment. How could he be defeated by a puny woman? He fell back, falling on his side. Blood stained the white shirt as it flowed from his stomach.

She stood there not able to believe what she just did. She killed a man. She had killed a man. Her eye twitched. Her hands shook. She collapsed crying. She was a murderer...

Like usual he sat at the table, eating his breakfast while reading the newspaper. His eyes drifted to the top story. "Two men and woman brutally murdered." it read. A smile grew on his face as he read through the article.

He had completed the mission given by his employer. His cellphone rang. It was from an unknown number. He picked it up, answering the call.

"Seems like you've done well. I should have not underestimated you."

" My looks might deceive you but like I said when we met, you should expect it."

"Yes, of course. My side of the agreement shall be completed shortly."

"Alright then, I shall be waiting..." he said dropping the call.

Killing people was his job. After all he was an assassin. He usually did it for the thrill, money and stuff like that. People have reasons for what they are and this was him. An assassin. A cold blooded assassin.

His phone rang again. He answered it. "Is this The Faceless?" a woman asked, in a grim tone. "Who is it?"
"I have a job for you." The Faceless smiled. "Go on."

He was going to go on another bloody adventure.
