When I finally open my eyes I am still buried in his chest. My face and hair is wet with tears and I just feel cold. It's now dark outside and my body is fatigued. I just want to go home.
Home. No one is home. I remember.
He notices me stirring.
"Are you ready to go home?" He asks with a concerned expression on his face.
"Stay with me" I ask.
"What?"
"No one is home. Please don't leave me alone."
"Of course."He pulls me in again and hugs me. I feel a sort of comfort with him around that I do not want to go away.
"Take me home. Take us home" I ask him.
He subtly smiles at me after our hug is done. Then, with one hand of the wheel and the other holding mine we head home.
