An Affair

~Levi's POV~

I sighed softly, rubbing my tummy. It's boring around the house when Eren's not home and there's nothing to clean. Not to mention, the kids are currently visiting Armin's house for a month, just so Eren and I can have some semi-alone time before the newest addition to our family arrives.

I groan and stand up carefully, grunting softly.

"Maybe I should take Eren lunch..." I think out loud, getting dressed and struggling into my shoes before grabbing the keys.

I waddled to my car and climb into it, giving one of the maids the finger when she tried to get me to stay home. I drove to McDonald's and bought a meal for me and Eren, then driving to the building.

I pulled into my parking spot and struggled out of the car, grabbing the food and waddling into the building. I smiled at Christa as I passed the front desk, waddling to the elevator and pushing the button to get me up to Eren's office. I waddle up to the door and open it slowly, seeing a new intern talking to Eren.

"You called for me sir?" She asks, looking at my husband. He motions for her to walk forward and then their lips met. I gasped, dropping the food and slamming the door shut, running out of the office.

I ran to my car and shakily unlocked it, climbing into it and buckling in, resting my forehead on the wheel as I sobbed.

"N-no... wh-why... why would he do this to me?" I ask myself, then backing out of my parking spot and driving to an unknown destination, tears clouding my vision. Once I went to wipe them away, I heard the sounds of honking and then felt the impact before blacking out.

~Eren's POV~

I heard the door slam and looked away from my lover, seeing a streak of black hair and pale skin.

"Levi..." I mumble.

"What?" Asks Mikasa. (I DO NOT ship this but... FOR THE PLOT)

"Nothing babe..." I whisper.

Sever moment later, after Mikasa and I had sex, the phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Yes, hello. Is this Eren Jaeger?"

"This is he."

"I'm calling to tell you that your husband has been in a terrible car accident and is in critical condition right now."

"Levi's been in an accident?! Hows the child? I'm on my way!" I shout, hanging up and rushing to my car, speeding to the hospital.

I arrived at the emergency room and ran in.

"How may I help you sir?" asks the nurse at the front desk.

"I'm Eren Jaeger. I'm here for Levi Jaeger."

"Ah, yes, he was just put in the trauma bay... he's got many broken bones and-"

"How's the baby?!" I ask, scaring the poor girl.

"TH-there's no way to tell until after he has his surgery... but the odds are looking slim for the child's life... I'm sorry." She says. I go silent and stagger to the seats in the waiting room.

~~~Several Hours Later!~~~

I was finally allowed to see Levi and I don't think I've ever been more scared in my life. If the baby had died, Levi will never be the same.

I walked into his recovery room and looked at him, seeing that he was awake and curled up on his side, his hands on his semi-flat midsection. I knocked on the doorjamb and Levi looked up at me and looked down.

"Get out..." He whispers weakly, tears falling down his pale cheeks.

"Levi..." I whisper, hurt.

"Get the fuck out! I don't want to see your fucking cheating face!" He shouts, his body shaking from the force of his sobs. I slowly backed out of the room, being passed by his friend Hanji who gave me a firm slap to my face.

~Levi's POV~

I watch as Eren leaves, getting slapped by Hanji on his way out as she walked into my room.

"Oh Levi..." She says, hugging my gently as I sobbed into her shoulder.

"H-He cheated on me... Hanji... I thought he loved me..."

"I know Levi... just calm down. This amount of stress isn't good for the remaining child..." She says, holding me close.

"H-Hanji... will I ever be able to walk again?" I ask softly, looking up at my friend. She gives a grim expression.

"I don't think so Levi... I'm sorry." She says, petting my hair as I started sobbing all over again. Then, my daughters and Armin all appeared in the doorway of my hospital room.

"I came as soon as I heard!" says the blond coconut. He rushed towards me and hugged me. My daughters joined the group hug and I sobbed harder, my small frame shaking from the force of my sobs.

~~~Two months later~~~

~Eren's POV~

It's been a couple months since Levi got discharged and he has avoided me ever since, only letting Armin or Hanji near him. He would most commonly sit in the library right by the window in his wheelchair, staring off into the distance. He wouldn't come down for family meals, leaving me and the girls to eat alone while Hanji and Armin struggled to convince Levi to eat.

I walked into the house at 1 AM after work and saw Levi sitting at the table, drawing something.

"I'm home." I mumble.

"So, are you gonna at least take the bitch out to dinner?" Levi asks, not taking his focus away from his drawing. I was taken aback but I understood where Levi was coming from.

"Actually, I just fired her... I've just been doing paperwork."

"Oh, so that's her name? 'Paperwork'?" He seethes, turning his eyes up to face me, those beautiful silver hues dulled to a tarnished grey and holding a rather hostile glare. I kept quiet.

"So I struck a nerve, eh?" He says, laughing dryly as he wheeled away from the table and towards me, stopping about seven feet away. I stared at him, taking in every detail, seeing how his shirts which used to be skin tight, hung off his frame loosely. Seeing how much more prominent his cheekbones were, noticing the dark under eye bags which contrasted his deathly pale skin.

"I was four months pregnant with your children! We've been married for a few years now and I one day, when I decided to take you lunch, I see you with a woman! Kissing her the way you used to kiss me... So I ask you Eren... Why? Why the hell did you do this to me? To your daughters?!" Levi shouts, shaking violently.

"I don't know! Okay?! I don't fucking know Levi! Maybe you should've just stayed home like I've been trying to tell you!"

"And let you continue to have an affair while I carried your fucking children?! I just wanted to have a lunch together with you, the way we used to when you let me go to work when pregnant! You vowed to stay faithful! So why?" Levi shouts, his breathing bordering on hyperventilating. Just then, our oldest daughter walked down the stairs, rubbing her eyes.

"Mommy... daddy... why're you shouting?" She says softly, looking at us sleepily.

"N-no reason baby... Let's get you back to sleep..." Levi says, kissing Kuchel's head. I took her back upstairs and laid her in bed, tucking her in.

"Night daddy..." She mumbles, falling asleep. I walk back downstairs to find Levi on the floor, his face pale and his breathing uneven. I picked him up and carried him to the guest room where he slept and laid him on the bed.

"I will always love you Levi... know that..." I whisper, kissing his head gently.

Wow! The escalated quickly. Bet you guys never thought this would be a cheater!Eren book. Well... SURPRISE!!!
