I LOVE this AU!!

Basic Story: Bill kidnapped Dipper at a young age and took him to the Nightmare Realm to use him as a tool to destroy the Pines family, but eventually began to care for him and became a "crappy but loving" father figure.

Meanwhile, Mabel grows up living with Stan. Stan frantically searched the woods for Dipper where he disappeared for a few years after the event, until he finally gave up, thinking the boy was dead by then. Mabel had seen Bill take her brother, but the memory faded over time, until she was wandering the woods unattended and found Journal 3, which renewed the memory. She continued the  search for Dipper. Her friends were Candy and Grenda. 

Dipper grew up in a far corner of the Nightmare Realm, where he was least likely to get eaten. His friends were the Henchmaniacs, and eventually a girl named Mabel that he had met in some woods on Earth. He was raised by Bill, although sometimes not very well.

Characters: 

Mabel is mostly the same character, except maybe a little less loving (since she didn't have a brother).

Bill is still insane, but he's a good father figure- most of the time. Can go to the physical world, but can't go outside the border of Gravity Fall's woods.

Dipper is very different. He still likes books, but he's more childish sometimes. Bill trains him, and even lets him have some powers. He kept taking Bill's cane until he finally let him keep it. Being curious, he often ventures into the physical world. There are urban legends about him in the town of Gravity Falls.
