Kageyama was going to train, study and stay in dorms in Fukuoka. Now that he had about one month before school begin, he would get some souvenirs for Hinata, his parents and his Karasuno teammates from some famous places of interest in the perfecture. Kyushu was slightly warmer than Miyagi. It would take sometime to get used to, but it was the last thing on his mind as he hurried to his dorm. He was going to study in the same school as Kiryuu, Fukuoka Perfecture High School, but he wouldn't be playing for their volleyball team. He wasn't going to have the time and trust him, it wouldn't be fair even if he did. That would make the other talents compelled to join too. And it wouldn't be fair to other teams participating in the volleyball tournaments. Plus, he wasn't just going to turn into Hinata's enemy again when they had both worked very hard to be each other's  "formidable ally" as Suga would have called it. He had also heard that Kiryuu was made to quit the team, so Kageyama was most likely not going to face Karasuno on the other end of the court anytime soon.

Kageyama double checked the address as he exited the bus. Then he strolled inside seemingly leisurely and introduced himself. Soon, he found himself being dragged along in the twisting halls of the dorm by the dorm manager. "Room 201" Kageyama knocked the door politely and entered, thanking the dorm manager after he had explain the procedures and rules of the dorm. Kageyama learned that he was the first one to arrive. As the door banged shut, Kageyama took a look around the room.

The room was quite big. There was a kitchenette and a small toilet, and a small entryway to the sleeping quaters. He walked inside. The sleeping room was simple with two single beds at each corner of the room, together with two wooden study tables against the wall near the foot of the beds and wardrobes near the entryway. It was very clean and the stuff looked new. It didn't actually looked that much different from his own room. He would be able to adapt quickly. Kageyama picked the bed furthest from the window. His roommate might appreciate the view. He didn't really need it as he seldom stared out the window.

Kageyama started unpacking. He hung his clothes neatly in the wardrobe. The school had a main public bath down the hallway, so his towel also went into the wardrobe. Kageyama dropped his luggage beside his bed, taking out his volleyball. He stared at it for awhile before tugging it back into bag. Kageyama had also brought his Karasuno jersey which he also folded and placed delicately into his luggage case. Proud that he had finished packing, Kageyama grabbed his day backpack and headed out after filling up his water bottle. He had about 5 hours to explore before the dorm curfew at 8. Dorm meals were usually provided, but it was summer holiday with not many around, so those who stayed back had to get their own food outside.

Using the map he had gotten from the airport and some directions from the dorm manager. Kageyama boarded bus 140 at a bus stop somewhere along the chiyo-kenchoguchi station on the hakozaki line. He would go visit Maizuru park where the fukuoka castle was located at.

Fukuoka castle was completed in the early Edo period for the Tozama Daimyo Kuroda Nagamasa. Most of the castle ground had been converted to the rest of Maizuru Park. Kageyama took a look at the castle gates, towers and turrents. It was said to be a very nice place for cherry blossom viewing, but now that it wad summer, all trees were green other than an occasional one with some bloom. There was a viewing platform, the Fukuoka city's Taito tower, which had a breathtaking view but Kageyama thought it would look way nicer during the sunrise or sunset. Hinata would like this place though, Kageyama smiled to himself imagining what Hinata's reaction would be coming here and he snapped a photo of the city view.  After walking a little more around Maizuru Park, Kageyama headed for the art museum located further up from exit 8. Kageyama wasn't a art person but everything seemed nice on vacation. He got Hinata a small keychain of a nice looking design, his mother a flower pressed bookmark, and for his father, a tie clip from the book store there.

When he was done it was around dinner time. He took bus 13 back to chiyo-kenchoguchi station. Kageyama was dead tired. He quickly grabbed some convenience store food and headed back to the dorm for a good night's rest.

He saw he had a new message as he got out from his bath. It was 10pm. He opened the message. Turns out Hinata was wishing him goodnight. He smiled and fell asleep, phone clutched in his hand.

Hinata on the other hand, waited an hour for a reply. He knew Kageyama had read the message but he was adamant about getting a goodnight back as somesort of a lullaby. He gave up as he felt his eyelids start to droop. At least Kageyama received it. "Goodnight Bakageyama, sweet dreams. You better reply tomorrow." was the last thing Hinata thought before he fell into lalaland.
